The excellent keeper pull is naff.

The solid youth pull is actually quite good. A solid youth really isn't that high a level. To get a youth that is worthwhile keeping or selling is a hit or miss until around Outstanding when your expecting something decent.

Gregor McGeady is sellable.

IMO. If its costing more than 10k to produce a solid or very good youth pull, your taking a gamble as there is a good chance that you wont break even when selling. On the other hand, sometimes a solid youth can be very sellable, especially if the age is 18 or younger. £900k is my record for a solid 17yo.

Ive been chasing a similar big sale on a low level youth. I think you loose more often that you win, but sometimes the win can be big. Ive felt many times that its not worth the money or gamble to produce a youth unless they are going to reach at least excellent. but I always go back to the gamble.

now we have ages of juniors i wont keep anyone that going to come out over 18 if they are going to be lower than outstanding just not worth it

will keep all 16 year olds that come out before there 17th birthday and will keep alot of the 17 year olds too
