problem is that beyond excellent wages really start to bite, and I already shell out for a brilliant youth coach

if he can get better training elsewhere, I am happy to list

but there's always the danger of him going abroad

anyone who is going to be able to afford him will want to train him well

if you do sell him i would use the money to get better assistants
and pay there wages over a couple of seasons they will pay for themselves
in better players coming through to sell and improving results

what coaches would you recommend? With ones I had I still was losing lots of money each weak and living off player sales. Although I just did a big ground expansion, so that would help things.

List him now. Don't worry about him going abroad, Paradise is just a few miles up the A90. :)

£1m is quite a high starting bid. I need to check what some comparable players are going for.

according to here http://www.sokker.cz/sk/prestupy, a million is on the cheap side - the average seems to be around 3m, and every guy sold for a million+ except one who went for 415k (which seems to be just an aberration in week 15 of last season around the time the prices plummet)

For £3M I would need guarantees on his talent & I personally would prefer higher side skills.

It would take a good while to make your money back on him if you paid £3M.
