For £3M I would need guarantees on his talent & I personally would prefer higher side skills.

It would take a good while to make your money back on him if you paid £3M.

Well I've been outbid already,I don't think he'll go for anything like £3m but around £1.3m would be a typical fee for a Scottish player of his potential.

how come when i get players like that they sell for £3. BOOOO DODGY DODGY
2011-11-25 17:32:16
I paid 800 too 1.3 million for similar players last season, never seen many going for any more than that.
2011-11-25 17:33:13
Your players are always in tragic form!
2011-11-25 17:33:35
i cant see anywhere of a player of that skill level going for that price it looks like his price should be around 200/400k mark

but nice sale

I only search for Scottish players on the transfer market & pay particular attention to young striker prospects as that's what I've been training for the past couple of seasons so from experience & previous bids on similar players I know that a Scottish player his age around this point in the season goes for around £1m - £1.3m.

He can go to 3m euro i think.. and anyway, for a local prospect like him the price shouldn't be a factor, he is a great prospect and if someone will buy him than i'm sure he will enjoy training him and making him a star, so it's priceless..
:-)

Until sokker introduces some kind of maximum foreigner rule then price will always be a factor for me.
2011-11-25 18:55:34
yeah, 3m's way too much: my search included some players who were way better and they lifted the average

1m is not too much though

In a last minute deal, Stevie Mackenzie has signed on at Paradise! He said he had been a JOHN BHOYS FC fan all his life. He goes straight into the first team for Sunday's walkover.

2011-12-10 10:51:31
I don't think so :( I have hoped that Hugh Carr would be better...
2011-12-10 10:58:02
Well, he was just solid pull so can't expect much from this ones.. but if he is talented he can be a great player in the long term...
:-)
2011-12-10 12:10:35
at 16 and already like that he could be a money maker if he has a talent which i assume he has as he came out as solid and we are only half way through season
