Subject: I think I'm pretty much done

I'm not entirely certain, but I think it's time to call it quits in this game. It's far too flawed, you can't win at the highest level unless you pay for Plus or get very lucky, and the community has fallen so far we've got people using standard tactics for our NT after being voted in from out of nowhere.

So, if I do completely chuck it, I just wanted to say it was fun for a spell, good luck to those who stay, and I hope the game recovers somehow to make it more enjoyable.

I'll probably sign in now and then to do.....well, thinking about it, pretty much nothing. There's £38m sitting in my teams accounts that will be lost, so I may do something there before I completely chuck it, but I'm not sure.

Spend the cash on 3 or 4 top quality players then buy some top young talent and see if you can train them into stars !

I tried it this season and if I'm honest they are a bunch of muppets lol , I've trained pace and most of them ain't popping at all

I am already selling a two defender from U21 team. If you need a defenders you can buy them.

Also, how NT was treated disappointed many users, unfortunately this happened with many small countries.

you guys are still producing players , we just need to get a bit more involved whether its about our NT sides, managers..... ( i can take wind ups, advice , criticism ) the leagues or just about Sokker in general .

Back in that season we voted in a boy called stevo for U21 manager, I think people thought they were voting for stevie! haha! And there was also a random in charge of the NT.

Anyway I remember strider80 (Rangers from the North). He saved up his money for years, then he bought a good team and was getting ratings in the 70's. However, he finished 2nd in the league to me twice in a row, then the following season he lost his opening game to me again and then sold his team. I remember beating him 3-2 in a cup final also and my keeper made a wonder save in the 90th minute haha. Good times!

Was it St Johnstone who owned the league for years? He probably had one of the best teams worldwide back then.

We could create a poll for this, asking if people want the league games at 1.30, 3.30, 5.30, 7.30 or 9.30pm.

It was. Annoyingly drew them in the first ever CC R2. Tartan Terrors were a pretty useful team too.

Obviously once the competition was gone, the dregs managed to get to the top.

I used to hate playing Tartan Terrors. That was back in the day when wingers ruled sokker. And he had a good one. Used to irritate the hell out of me.

I never knew that, there was that whole incident when he got banned and then re-instated after some dodgy transfers. I thought he was legit lol. Wait until I see him, he has never admitted that to me. Haha.

I remember getting a message showing me all the transfers made between the same teams over and over for here , and exactly the same on gko lol , funny thing was the team names were either exactly the same or pretty close lol , there again gko is absolutely riddled with cheats , there has been a guy cleaning them out in the last 2 years tho and that has made a huge difference
