Quite some reviewing to do at first sight, purely based on ratings, results and opportunities.
I havent watched match yet, still on date... but the tactic was anti wing, but allowing long shots... i hope when i watch the match that They have many long shots
Reviewing??? Everything worked 110% after plan.
Out of their 8 shots, 5 was from outside area, 2 was on header just within the area and 1 was a shot from just within the area ... although they had one dribble attempt that was dangerous.....
AND.... their winger was closed down nearly all match..... he is 35k wage, and their biggest threat, and we forced him to making early passes and crosses all game long....
We had only big chances..... none of our chances were small, and we also had dribble attempts and close to clear attempts.. :)
If you watch the match you will see..
I do though admit, that Guatemala was in the match even being behind from 6th minute. But dont underestimate them, they have 8 good players, and could very possible spring a suprise result in the group... :)

And we were a bit handicapped.... we have 11 and 5 form strikers, so our biggest threat is our winger 18 form 35 k wage winger who had a red card for the match... :)
Good start mate
Hopefully the strikers form starts to rise fast as it's been stupidly low for such a long time
The whole time I was looking after the team , Andrew Will stayed in tragic form

yeah i will play Andrew Will in all easy and all friendly matches to try and see if it can help his form :)
havent seen it either, still on holiday :)
comment was purely rating/shots based, as i mentined ;)

The campaign is still long :) But the mind games worked, and we got ourself a win over Belgium today. The whole thing about playing low anti wing tactic against Guatemala, was that i wanted to play ultra high against Belgium... a higher tactic against Guatemala and we probably had dominated that match more easily.
Here is a little screenshot from the match, showing that Belgium had their midfield way too high up (it is after they were caught offside)
And that was the plan with the tactic today.... i dont know how to describe it better then this, but when our midfield and def conguers the ball they have space to make a pass, because their def will be a little away from them, but when they conquer the ball our def is so high together with a midfield right in front, that if they conquer it high they are surrounded in a rugby match, if they conquered it low, there is 7 players trying to cut and deal with the long pass...
And that the mind games worked, so they had their midfield too high... im glad
it is gonna be all for today from me, im ill and lying in bed.

well done unfortunately on my mac i cannot watch games anymore will need to find some old pc somewhere
Everything set for the u/27 vs Colombia... very strong u/27 selection, although 1-2 level pace for def and some form for Andrew Will would make it DEADLY
Or Well, injury for a def, so need to find last substitut... also need to fix match orders... this is the lineup
