We don't have a striker for this tournament and those who 'are' are not in form...
So I can apologise in advance for the results.... because I feel they will be poor compared to the results from season 61 where we won the PLAYOFF :p

I didn't have an appointment for the game this week, so I got up in the morning and sent out a lot of invitations.... Until I got an invitation from user rawlrawl.
I haven't had the pleasure of playing against New Zealand, so it's an interesting choice for this week. It's the last match with a full squad. Let's go Scotland! ❤

New Zealand - Scotland 2:6

The opponent took 7 shots playing with 3 strikers, one of the strikers was in very good form (Curly Atkinson [36939350]), doing what he wanted with our defence. It would be good to improve this result in defence...but we should be satisfied with the result.
This was the last game of the season with this line-up. As of today, I am making new call-ups for the U27 tournament. I'm not promising super results because we have a lot of deficiencies in the ATT formation.

The group for the U27 tournament is ready. We should be proud to be in the FLOW A groups.
We will face Switzerland (4th ranked), Turkey (17th ranked) and the well-known England (25th ranked).
Not a dream group... but if you want to be the best we have to face the best! :-)

Scotland - Norge

A small change regarding the U27 tournament. We will not play the first match against England because the England coach has arranged to play someone else.
In this situation, without having started the U27 tournament yet, we have 3 points on our account in the group. A good start!
We go back to yesterday's line-up, field the best line-up again and I will try to beat the experienced Norwegian user Lorre once again.

That's the plan! Overall the whole tournament and especially our group in the U27 tournament had a false start, none of the matches played out and Turkey like us score 3 points without playing a match :-)

Scotland - Norge 2:3

The efficiency of the two teams in this match is impressive, with five goals out of 13 shots on scored.
Today's match made me laugh, what our midfielders do at key moments in the match is ridiculous, instead of passing, they run into GK.
Identical is the case with one-on-one situations with the rival goalkeeper. Did we have 3 of them today? Not a single shot was taken.
Lorre has played the last 3-4 games with the same two tactics, with the same minutes being changed. Today, of course, he only used one and not the one I assumed. I've been having trouble reading my rivals lately.... I am getting it wrong. Sorry.

Scotland - Türkiye 2:2

First match with the U27 squad at the tournament. A lucky draw, we took 2 shots in this match - and scored 2 goals.
I'm not sure we played with the best line-up. Quite a few users didn't write me back with player updates.

Scotland - Schweiz 1:1

We are tied with 4th place in the rankings and advance further!
I wanted to play quite defensively in this match, I knew that the rival was using both wings in the match and it would be difficult to cover them accurately. We played too high defensively and that gave so many shots to Switzerland... I wanted a draw and I got it, I'm satisfied :-)
