Nice to have 2 candidates to choose from.
With any game, football and sokker is no different. There is an element of luck. I watched all the matches in the campaign and in a few I felt we didn't get the breaks. We were certainly outplayed by Saudi Arabia in the 3 0 defeat which was the most disappointing game. Both defeats to Philippines was a bit scandalous. I remember we hit Woodwork 3 times. Think it was one of those games.

Good luck both. I'm undecided for now.

"Scottish national team should be enough to, at the very least, always qualify for the World Cup."

I disagree with that.

Skiv's database shows Scotland has qualified 20/31 World Cups, so 64% of the time.
And only progressed beyond the group stage 4 times.

Donaldo, if you, as the coach of your country, are not convinced that Scotland should always qualify for the World Cup, then who is? Colombia has participated in the same number of World Cups as Scotland, of which I qualified them for six. On one occasion I took them to the quarter-finals, on four occasions to the round of 16, and only once did we not make it to the second round.
And I repeat, the goal of a Scotland coach is to qualify for the World Cup at least, and the second objective is to make it to the round of 16 of the World Cup.
And if you decide to vote for me, those are my objectives, but mainly to strengthen the national team together with the community and work hand in hand with the U21 coach.

It's nice. Plenty of stats there.

The object is to win the World Cup.
This is ofcourse possible but very difficult.

The aim is to win every game.
I'm realistic enough to know that is unlikely.
Won't stop my aiming to win the next one and so on.

" to strengthen the national team together with the community and work hand in hand with the U21 coach."
This is good. I do that whether the NT coach or not.

What's your analysis on today's game?

The game was even, with a high percentage of effectiveness. In the first half, both England and Scotland created 4 clear chances to score (one-on-one or shots at the post). England converted two, one thanks to an error by the right back when returning the ball and Scotland converted 1. In the second half, England created 4 chances and converted three of them. The one they missed was a penalty. Scotland created 3 chances and converted 2, for a score of 4-3 in England's favour. Tactical analysis: Scotland was very defensive in terms of position, with practically six defenders, because there was a false defensive midfielder, but who mainly moved into a line of 6, only leaving that line when Scotland was in the last quarter of the field on England's side. Which for me gave a real 6-2-2 formation. England played with 5 defenders, 2 midfielders, a winger and two attackers, for a 5-3-2 formation. Scotland, although their formation was defensive, it was not noticeable because England generated many clear goal opportunities, reflected in four goals, I think the reason was due to a very advanced defense in midfield, which generated that the filtered balls, added to fast forwards produced one-on-one plays, England's technical forwards broke through the center and there was no support and when there were long balls with the defense advanced they were left alone again. The midfield was not seen since the balls most of the time passed from the defense to the forwards, the offensive part was very good, options were generated, three goals were scored, which if the defensive efficiency had been good, would have been enough to win the game. England, defensively, was not the best, taking into account that it was attacked only by the center and allowed 3 goals, it was not so advanced, which allowed it to generate more play with its midfield, its wing was not relevant in the match, it was well controlled by the Scottish defense, the midfield was good passers, they generated several filtered passes that ended in goals and in attack very well, generating clear and very effective goal chances.

Thank you for your analysis.
I posted my analysis in the NT forum already.

I see there is a 3rd candidate running.
Miklas20, could you add some input.

I see they are relatively new account but could be a returning user? They are going bankrupt but that might be turned around with tomorrow's bonus.

They also have already at least one vote.
