Yes, I thought the same thing while watching. We totally outplayed them, but their class showed through in the end.

Another deserved victory over Russia, our 4th in a row in consecutive WCQs against this team, that's pretty amazing.
We finished 3rd in the group, kinda as I expected, ahead of stronger Russia and similar strong Wales (once again, 6:0;6:2)
We had a very real chance to qualify this time, we should have won the match against Argentina, we were better in it and lost it. This match in the end was the decider, as Argentina finished 4 points ahead of us.
Anothet great results were lucky draw against ex WC winners Norway and unlucky close loss 3:5 in a very even match.
I think this was my best WCQ so far and probably the ceiling of this team for a long time and may be ever, as the players will get older and weaker and there is noone to replace them.
