Shame indeed. We finished the WCQ only one point behind ex World Cup Champions Estonia. This was my most succesfull campaign incuding wins over stronger Bolivia and much stronger Estonia and a draw and one goal close loss against the group winner Hungary.
This great generation is getting old and it would be very hard to keep the same level. I'm not fully decided but after 11 seasons (8 with senior and 3 with U21) in the great South Africa I think it's time for me to move on..

Thank you so much LaBamba. If you have any trainers for our youngsters, let us know. It was great working with you and some of the results you achieved were unbelievable. You will be missed and are always welcome.
Great work LaBamba, a shame to see you go, I hope in the future we can work together even with the selections of South Africa.
Well, you have done a lot of great work here, but I think it is time to move on...maybe to Czech republic next season? ;-)
