His name he got by DB is kinda strange though.
He got a latin surname as first name and a polish first name as surname.
To make it more funny, no one in Austria is named like that in any direction.
So as of now I will also call him Vlassis on the pitch, it sounds nicer in my ears!

So dont expect to find any Blasius here when being on vacation in Austria!
I also dont recomment to call anyone Blasius here, it will propably be completely misunderstood (more like understood as cocksucker in nowadays linguistics) and not end very well :-)

Ι search a little bit( You made me curious about the name:P) and i found that Vlassis becomes from Greek Vlastisi(Βλάστηση) which means vegetation

Blasius is not necessarily negative. Here in Tyrol (federal state of Austria) the southerly wind (that often occurs) is called "Blasius" by the local people.
Blasius is a saint and martyr

I still would not consider to go out on the streets of Vienna and call someone Blasius :-)
