In a group of 5 the second place does not necessary offer you a free pass to the finals. It all depends on the number of points you gain in the group, the more you have, the more chances you have to go to the WC.
I would say that a group of 6 is much better, even though playing against Romania is going to be very hard. Lietuva is not that bad, they have a better total value of the 40 players squad than we have.
But still, we have our chances and we have to play each game with determination.

Great result indeed and a very good defensive line. And we did an awesome game into the middle even playing without Srđa Subotić - injured 20 days.

My only concern was not being able to start with Simic in attack as he was injured having 3 days left to recover.
The sub, Veljko Mirčić, did well. Still I introduced Simic at half time and it paid off as he scored our second goal after a couple of minutes :D
We stand on top of the group after two games, which is very promising.
Next game is a road to Nicaragua. Hope to have a valid line-up and good form.

Lietuva's 78.8% mark from their last game says a lot, but a balanced tactic can put them down.

The game went in only one direction.
My only disappointment is the injury of Danilo Matošić for 15 day (2 weeks).
Next week we play a friendly against France and afterwards the return leg against Lietuva.
