Yes that is me!
I sold off my team cos I didn't like them - they call me names and made fun of my gammy eye.

I now have 1 648 633 £ and no training scheme in mind. I make that about 100k for a first team and trainees. What level should I aim for?

Well... is there anything you want to train specifically?

How important is the first XI... in other words how much do you want to invest in trainees?

I'm happy to invest in the future and not bothered about short term success, I don't pay too much attention to the game so a training scheme that is easy to manage would be best!

defending then

Defenders might be a good choice.

Forwards you can only train 6 a week and at the lower end of the market Im not sure if they're worthwhile training. Midfielders are also an option but a bit the position is more skill heavy.

Defenders I can nice a nice profit in from your sort of outlay. Main thing I stress to anyone buying trainees is be appreciative of how multi skilled sokker players need to be. Dont be drawn in like many by a young player with good primaries but dire secondaries. You want to be looking more at the total skill of a player and try and avoid rock bottom secondaries.

If I were I'd you be looking for guys with decent pace and defending (solid?), thats likely what you'll be training. PM, Passing and Tech it helps if you can have them at least at weak, average or adequate being better. Very poor secondaries either hurt sell price or take time to train.

The younger the better too obviously. 20 or younger is good, and be aware some people go daft on mediocre 17 and 18yo's... dont be drawn in.

If you need an opinion on anyone feel free to post here or message me.

I'm not a value expert but they should bring in a nice profit after a number of seasons training.

Keep an eye on how fast they take to pop and replace any that dont show good or decent talent.

ok thanks, just a thought maybe we should start a thread for people that want to get an idea of whether there money was well spent or not, ie a value for money thread where ppl could post their players and more experienced ones could give their 2cents.
