Ok so I have a coach a youth coach and an assistant.

My youth coach is only solid though so I was gunna get a new one - but would it be idea to move him to assistant? I.e. How many should a team have and how many should a new team have.

Cheers

A team should have between 1 and 3 assistants, more than 3 and the training efficiency will be jeopardise...
3 is ideal and you'll find out that the vast majority of people have 3 assistants.

you'll find many answers if you take time to read the rules.

as for moving your youth coach to assistant it's not a bad move if you can afford it. You can always upgrade your assistants later...

3 decent assistants will set you back app 50 k each week make sure you can afford it mate.

If you haven't already done so then set your training to stamina asap.
Training occurs on Thursday mornings about 6.30.

If you dont have stamina set by then, then you'll lose any training for this week because you played 4 attackers in your league match.

You can't play more than 3 att, 5 mids or 5 defs for training purposes, but having stamina selected then all players who played that week regardless of position will train.

If you need any help on any aspect of the game then just post away in this forum, there's a lot of us here who will be happy to help.
Good Luck.

those would be Very very decent assistants :P

having assistants at around "good" to "very good" would be fine for him for now.

and i would definitely have 3 of them. i had 3 assistants right from the start.

are you chrisafi of BDF fame. If so I sold you a winger a few years ago. So you have decided you are Scottish after all. :D

Haha indeed I am that very chrisafi. MacErracher (sp) was it? Good player, got an U19 cap. Although just the one haha.

I am indeed embracing my Scottishness on this game.

OH dear not here... is nowhere safe!! lol..

AFI as in our EPIC hit the showers!!

anyhoot..... I need help.

I have set defense training, but I cant see any improvements or anywhere to find the improvements, in training screen i click assistant and all my players are set ATT..... now im confused.com

To see improvements just go to your players page, as you have plus all pop ups will be highlighted in green. You can also click on each player and then click on there individual skills, there you will see a graph from the previous 11 weeks, all pops are recorded there.

Also, if you are going to train defense, it's advisable to play with 5 defenders in both your matches each week so that you can get the maximum of 10 players trained.

Do you have your coaches set up? and if so is your head coach suitable for defense training?

Ignore him as he is a large Kow.

:)

If you have the training setup correctly, a main coach with unearthly(preferably....magical minimum) in the main skill you are training (DEFending), and reasonably talented trainees, expect pops every 5 weeks.

Better the talent (hidden training skill of a player that you can only find from training experience or from training graphs), and lower their initial skill, the quicker the pops.

poor to weak is faster than excellent to formidable.

Try to train 10 players per week.

5 friendly, 5 league.

I get that from other games so thats fine, im just getting concerned im screwing it up lol..........

No pops in skills, horrific lossess...

It took me a while to figure out I hadnt seen the upcoming matches...

is there any programs that help with team selection till i get my head round it???
2008-07-11 03:25:07
i FOUND Sokker Organiser...... it seems to help you pick players......... so its good, it doesnt do it for you, but it helps you see the skills

another thing, have you been getting any messages in your club "office" page about your lads being confused and not receiving training as a result? that is obviously not a good thing. It would be caused by playing more than 5 DEFs, or more than 5 MIDs or more than 3 ATTs in a match, as these are the maximum number allowed.
