Subject: Striker Training

Okay, so its the end of the season so time to have a look at how I am doing. I joined bout a month ago and decided to train striker, which meant cobbling together 6 trainees as best I could on almost no money (I've spent it on an incredible youth coach and youth places investment and stuff as Ive decided thats my longterm plan)

So I have this guy who is my best and Im guessing is alright to train:

Franco Paba , age 18
value: 43 200 £
wage: 450 £
brilliant form

adequate stamina tragic keeper
average pace unsatisfactory defender
average technique unsatisfactory playmaker
adequate passing very good striker

But I also have these guys as my worst

Peio Tinoco , age 17
value: 24 600 £
wage: 420 £
good form

weak stamina tragic keeper
adequate pace unsatisfactory defender
unsatisfactory technique weak playmaker
weak passing good striker

Kvido Zavináč , age 18
value: 28 500 £
wage: 510 £
weak form

unsatisfactory stamina tragic keeper
poor pace tragic defender
good technique good playmaker
weak passing good striker

.

So my question is; are these players good enough to train and make money on, or should I cut my losses? And what do you think I should be training and in what order? (I have a very good coach with incredible scoring and have been doing scoring, now on stamina for offseason) All advice gladly accepted :)

do you know the talent of these players ? First impression for me though is players 1 and 3 are fine but player 2 has really low tech which is a problem.

Since your quite new i would suggest training pace first, these guys need it but all other players that played in a match that week would recieve training also.

I would also keep an eye on your finances, the incredible youth coach's wages could be a tad high for you at the moment.

I'd agree with that but would just like to add that for the next two weeks it could be an idea to train stamina as you're only playing one match a week and your entire squad will get a boost.

Also keep an eye on training times if any of your trainees is popping much slower than the others then move him on and bring in someone else.

Peio Tinoco

Do not try train him.

sack or sell....his tech is terrible and im sure you can get a better player.

and Zavanivic will be 19 soon, so....do you have any more money..

im going to train pace this week but my coach has only got magical for pace. does this make a big difference compared to unearthly pace.

i think its done on a % basis.

so with unearthly, your trainer is 16/17 effective: 94.1%

with magical, he is 16/18 effective: 88.2%

think thats the way it works. as they say, playing just 1 match in a week will not get your lad 100% training. theres always that extra 5% you can get by playing him 10 minutes in the friendly ;)

Id imagine its like 15/16 times influence.

so 93% effective.

Which is ok for a short time.

so if there is a special someone you want to give max training to and only have a magical coach, you can give him a run out in the other match.

also, i think cup matches are just as effective as league matches : ie. ~95%
but friendlies are less effective: think ~ 90%

note that if your lad plays a full match in the NT, he gets 30% training.
