is there some kind of rules for usin certain position of players, such as usin 631 formation??

yes you can have no more than 5 set as def 5 as mid and 3 as striker
otherwise you will lose training that week

you can play 6 at back but you can only set 5 of them as def

yeah but by having 6 defs in the formation, wouldnt be that illegal? :S

nah he means you could have 5 defs listed in your squad as DEF. BUT you can create a new tactic where for example your number 7 who is set in your squad page as MID plays just in front of your defenders i.e. a defensive middie OR you could be really nuts and take your number 11 who is set at ATT and make him play as a sweeper. Its all done by the tactics editor and how you move your players about.

Ah rite i get it.. ok thanks.. cos i thought the opp is was playin in scottish cup i thought he was usin ililegal tactics..
