there are 5 ways to sort out friendlies:

1) find a team thats knocked out the cup and hasn't arranged a friendly for the week (check their match list). On that team's main page, click the "matches" button at the top. if they are free to challenge, u will see a challenge to friendly link. click it.

2) go to the "office" on the right menu. Click "Friendlies" on the top right. here u can see if anyone has challenged u. If no 1 has, click, browse ads, and challenge a team there. or create your own ad.

3) if you have Plus (like supporter in hattrick) u can create a friendly league. this means u have a league with other teams that join, and friendlies will be scheduled, so u dont need to find 1 each week.
4) u can join a friendly league. search for ads in the forums, or you can see the list of scottish friendly leagues when u click "scotland" on the left, or u can find friendly leagues from other countures under "world".
5) u could post an ad for a friendly in a predesignated friendly ad thread... there should be an old one lingering in the depths of the scotland forum :P

friendly matches are played late on wednesdays.

word of warning, deadline for sorting out friendlies is on tuesday (ie, before updates early wednesday)
