ive got 810 fans at the moment and i have no cash to expand ,

when i do get cash would it be best to buils seats behind the goal or along the line ?

Seats along the line bring in more revenue

See Rules and then pricing at the bottom

many thanks young man !!!

along the line first.

Personaly i think you should have a roof, some where and it may as well be behind goal (or in my case the corners). Not based on any fact but just that if its rainy then your fans may be more likley to still come and pay full seating price. Hence my main seating areas are along the line with benches behind goal and roofed seats in the corners ;)

what was your supporter distribution like for this game:

Haggis Hunters - Furious NRG 3:1

??

and then compare it to somebody else with a not so full stadium, when its not raining....

Good idea. That was a fairly poor attendance. But here are the numbers. When that game was played the 701 corner section did not have a roof.

736 944 771
2698 2724
1346 552 701

hmmmm, actually quite hard to compare, since one needs similar sized crowds etc etc.

ah well, I'm sure a roof is a good idea, but whether an all seater is best I really have no clue.

And a full attendance doesn't actually tell you much, other than you made lots of money :D

my last game against Broughton (he pumped me from every way) :(

Haggis Hunters - Broughton Rovers 4:6

1986 5122 1990
4000 4000
1991 2873 1989

as i mentioned not based on any fact but just seems to make sense for when its raining.

roofs cost a LOT of money... personally i think its more worth while investing that money in something else like more seats or better trainees
2007-02-01 23:12:55
They do cost a lot of money, but have you sat and worked out how many supporters didn't turn up due to drizzle, rain or heavy showers over the course of a season and how much revenue that would have been?

Probably the cost of a roof.. dunno, can't be bothered to work it out myself.
2007-02-02 00:50:18
yeah, think it would be quite complicated working it out.

Its only possible to predict how long a roof will take to pay for itself if you can also predict the Scottish weather.
2007-02-02 10:00:20
I tried. And I was getting heavy clouds/heavy rain a lot. So I bought a roof, then my wether for home games improved!
2007-02-02 10:08:39
My roof over 4,000 seats cost £240,000.

With good weather all the time.
It will take 80 home games to break even. As fans pay 0.75 more to sit there.
A bummer when you never get a home game in the cup.

However, every time you get poor weather it pays for itself a bit more. Thats unpredictable.
