Excellent passing sure makes a difference. One of the Dutch NT-keepers has excellent passing. All his goalkicks are shot towards teammates and in such a way that the pass is easy to control for the outfielder. Passing at good or higher definitely makes a big difference compared to poor or weak passing.

Maybe... I have goalkeeper with good passing and I'm pleased :)

I just know that difference between weak and something around tragic is huge.


I would still prefer keeper with good passing and incredible pace to keeper with excellent passing and excellent pace :)

Yes, but like pace and keeper itself, higher passing is better. Might even be worth it when you train passing to let a keeper play as mid in your friendly to improve his passing if it's really low... or maybe for NT-keepers or something.

Btw, I have a keeper with good passing as well now and I'm pleased as well.

Another btw, my reserve keeper has average passing, yesterday in my friendly he had a terrible goal kick right to an opponents midfielder who headed the ball to a striker who scored... so average might not be enough either...
