Lefter Küçükandonyadis, the former Turkish international striker who scored 423 goals in 615 appearances over two spells for Fenerbahçe SK, has died at the age of 86 following a long illness.
Single seasons ensued at ACF Fiorentina and OGC Nice, in 1951/52 and 1952/53 respectively, prior to returning to Fenerbahçe, where he would remain for 11 years. He retired in 1964 following a brief stint with AEK Athens FC.
