A deserved 0:2 victory to Basel (both goals scored by Alexander Frei), in front of about 3200 spectators. Actually our young team made a quite decent game, but opponent had more quality, thats all.

Basel`s fans (about 200 perhaps or something like that?) were cool - non-stop singing and cheering. They also made a bit of firework (nothing special though, so hopefully Flora wont be fined by UEFA, lol).

That's funny, on the telegram of the Swiss TV it says 1000 spectators. They didn't even provide the highlights though. But the second leg will be shown in TV.

No, there were certainly more ppl than 1k.

Great result for TNS, a 0-0 draw with Helsingsborgs. Hopefully they can steal an away goal!

There are reports that Polish supporters of Slask Wroclaw were attacked in Podgorica and still fight in the city

rocks were thrown at the supporters bus, the windows got broken and then Podgorica supporters started throwing flares inside the bus

no idea to what extent that is true...

Motherwell will be out in the third round of qualifiers - they face Panathinaikos.

Celtic should easily go through against Helsinki - although, in 2000/01 (the Treble-winning season), Celtic scraped through 3-2 on aggregate...

After a 4-3 win at home Red Bull Salzburg is out against F91 Dudelange from Luxemburg (4-4 on aggregate). Im laughing my ass off here xD

Yeah, so were FC Levadia Tallinn, when they lost to the amateurs from Luxembourg last season, lol. ;)

But yeah, FC Basel was way too strong for FC Flora Tallinn... :I

After the early goal, the game was over. Sometimes there was also a bit a lack of courage from the offensive estonian players. And when they finally got into a good position, the shots were quite poor :/ (apart from one in the first half).

It's a bit of a pity though that the losers from this round can't play EL qualification. Do you have any clubs left in international competition?

Unfortunately only Levadia, our most successful club at international level, but they will also (probably) be out tomorrow - traveling to Cyprus, where they play against Anorthosis Famagusta FC. (Lost 1st game 3:1...)

AA Gent passed Dudelange, but not that easy (two wins, but in the second match, they were 0-2 behind).

Really strange Salzburg didn't beat them. I remember them getting 18/18 once in a group with Lazio (I think).

Basel win at Molde (coached by Solskjaer) with 0-1. Molde played 60 minutes with 10 men. Good position for the second leg.
2012-08-02 00:13:29
Śląsk lost 0:3 at home. Level of players in this club is probably below amateur league, seriously, no skill at all, it's only 0:3, but still away game left and unfortunately match in EL qual. round, can't watch at this peace of crap call themselves football players.

Celtic-HJK only 2-1. Only once has finnish team been in group stage in UCL and (if I remember right) never in EL. Hopefully this season..
