first squad was a bit different as I thought it would be, and I was kind a disapointed that Mertens and Fellaini are on the bench, but always match has 90 minutes, and your coach happilly reached for those players ;]
also that has to be admited - Belgium played first time since 2002 (am I right) ?? this is a new generation of players, in some first 15 minutes Belgium players where elsewhere but not on the field
this match is a history now they will play against Russia and they need 3 points, I beleive it will be a much different game...

Imo Mertens should be a starter, but on the other hand as a sub he's always been brilliant. As a starter he has never been that good at the NT squad. Fellaini ... well, he plays too slow, but if you can put him as 2nd striker/off mid, he's great.
Imo the only mistake in the starting eleven was Dembele. Awesome recuperation, but you don't need such skills against a team like Algeria. And you could discuss about Van Buyten, but except Lombaerts and Kompany our central defenders lack games (Vermaelen, Van Buyten) ...

I think the lineup is a secondary problem. My impression was that they didn't know what to do with the ball. On offense nobody was moving to create space or trying to get open.
after few days from Belgium match, we can see that other tems were in the same problem for example Italy agains Costa Rica,
Belgium was on a pressure of first match on a big event such as World Cup since a few years, as wrote before - your players were paralized for some 15 minutes and finally woke up on the second half, but of course after changes

I didn,t see much matches of your team, but I was impressed how this team won agains Sweden ;]

Well, I must say, Sweden with or without Ibra is a big difference.. We won that game easily, but with Ibra in it, it wouldn't be that easy I think :)
Today another important day. I hope and think that Russia won't play as defensive as Algeria did. I hope both teams will play for a win, then all spectators may see a great game.

Except for first 10 minutes and last 10 minutes we were pretty weak today.. But all what matters are 3 points and qualification for next round :)
I can see Capello achieving a dubious 1-0 and everyone complaining about how unfair it is for them to go through :P
it's obvious that he is a great player but sometimes event with Ibra Sweden don't play for example like they did with England :))
wel the game was not bad, as some of you said about Fellaini, I watched him closely and yes he plays a gear down comparing him to the others but still he's good :)), Mertens well he had some actions and he could sometimes pass rather than shoot but he did well, Kevin wasn't so much better ;]
Origi saved he day, he played nice against Algeria and y-day he finished in a action of a game, I told my friend when we had 30 minutes to go, that it seems that this match looks like there will be one action and K.O. ;]

massive result for Algieria, although Russia and Korea were pathetic at this tournament.
