I have to disagree here with you man. That was a clear dive IMO. I guess you can say there is minimal contact which is normal in soccer/footaball but I'd say it was a dive.

he went down in a theatrical manner, but there still WAS a foul. and when there is a foul, there is a penalty.

I can copy paste my post over and over again .... Every forward does it, and not only forwards, also many other players on other positions fall down for nothing just to get a free kick or *** the other player for a card. The thing with Robben is that many people are waiting for it to happen and glady attack him when they think he did it again, even when they are completely wrong. And apparently many people are too easy influenced by that stupid jealous media and nonsense of other supporters. Too me this all says more about those people as it does about Robben ..........

It was a \foul, the Mexican player was clearly too late. Just watch the video, it is a tackle. And as borkos007 also wrote, the way he falls down is completely unimportant, what matters is the clear foul of the Mexican.

If all forwards do it, please show me 5 vids (I can easily find that for Robben, Neymar, ...) of let's say: Lukaku, Benzema and Aguëro :)

It depends of what you call often. How many times do these players trick other players, pass them and get tackled? In a few matches a player like Robben tricks and passes other players more often as many players in a whole season or even seasons.

Besides, if defenders or midfielders fall down very often no one is complaining about it for weeks, even if it are players who in % fall double or tripple as often as Robben or other players who are 'known' for it. But with Robben they love to keep writing and complaining about it for weeks or even years, as shown on this forum.

Thanks, that's exactly my point, media hype. It is very easy to put things in the wrong perspective and then use it as evidence .... or is it conformity.

I don't know why we are still talking about this..., the movie shows it is 100% a penalty, there is something wrong with your eyes if you don't see that.
I really don't like it if people are jealous, i can't think of something else as people are talking about diving if it is a 100% penalty.
Next to that, also in 1st half Robben deserved a penalty, slow television was proving that over and over.
Really sad all those crying if Robben deserved 2 penalties and did get 1 only.
Are we crying about that last thing? NO.
