What change did you see? I see nothing...
2020-05-03 15:25:55
You can't stop progressing just because the transition may be hard. Let's choose where we want to go, and then we'll think how we want to achieve that goal

Making older players more valuable than younger players isn't progression in my eyes. Not to mention that would also make it harder for newer players to catch up which is one of the arguments for wanting less weeks to start with. Progression would be fixing many of the known issues that we are not happy about. I also don't view it as progression when you are willing to put an obvious imbalance into the game.

Not surprising. All this psychotic and useless talks Vs changes... If i was a dev i will stop any communication about "leagues/season" changes for a while :-D But Devs diaries was perfect... until they launch a bomb. too bad.

Each aspect depending on the length of the season could be changed proportionally so that it is not affected

Except they have already said that they won't do that with the training.
2020-05-03 15:51:44
There are different solutions for all problems.

Training speed can also be changed in other ways.

To say, here are 3x 12 week solutions and choose 1, is not okay.

In a really open dscussion more options are presented, not just 1 option in 3 different ways what will reduce a season by 25% !
2020-05-03 15:53:07
They would do it anyway because they want to change training system. It's not related to season length

But we are still not there :P

And they also said no gameplay changes will be made before all changes can be implemented in one update...
And before they have all changes ready, they need to test everything and adjust things that don't work properly or could be better. For now there's only 1 question asked: Option 1, 2 or 3 or none of them...
And yes, it's shown in a 12 weeks season, but the length is still negotiable. It's just to have an equal representation of the proposal. And why not in 16 weeks? Cause they feel the season should be shortened. Is it different than now? Yes.
Is it a bad change? Who knows... But it isn't the issue for the moment.

Raul to Dtox9
It's a quite good summary, thanks.

@all - we see so many discussions about lenght of the season, that we will post some comments about it (probably tomorrow, max 2 days). We belive that main problem is full context of changes, and it's much easier for us to evaluate our own ideas with overview how them affect the game, than for you, knowing only a part from Dev Diary. But as we said, it's also impossible to give you all information at once - it would be even more confusing to read full scope. We need some trust from you, that we are planning changes as one mechanism.

For now, please, focus just how many games you want to play - 3 per week, or 4, with 2 league games in week. Lenght of season will follow. We want it shorter, but it's not a key point here! Same with training system - as we said, it will be adjusted to allow you focus on winning, not playing friendlies for training. And it will work that way no matter which option will be selected, so it's also not a key info for now.

@sviktorov - sorry, but i dont get a point about unacceptable changes that we made without any info - we posted info last week, about flash updates, you can find stadium visualisation and club outfits. We also changed http for https, and it's nothing that affects on a game.

I have cleaned Google Chrome data cache and no different things have occured. I see messages there is not flash in stadium and team logo un mainpage.

For now, please, focus just how many games you want to play - 3 per week, or 4, with 2 league games in week.

I would prefer
- max 3 official club matches per week
- max 3 club competitions
- 1 league match every Sunday, not more
- every competition taking part in the same day with the possible exception in playoff
- only one playoff game
- home-away league system with perhaps the little boost of the home team
- even distribution of the number of matches in a week during the season
- in case of the International club competition, the International league instead of the International cup
- preserving the slower tempo of the game

@slavista Big +1000 to all of that.

I am not sure if the stadium visualisation went fine :-)

2020-05-03 16:56:40
+1 from me too :-)
2020-05-03 16:58:23
2 matchs /week.
- Sunday : Championship
- Wednesday : CC/CC2 and new National cup ( without CC team) + National cup at the end of season. (with a limited number to meet the schedule - International Cup for the rest).
