market is market - it's self-regulatory, and will adopt, effects will be also rather spread out in time. Finally number of players will be similar.
It will be your decision how many formations you want to focus - it's always about investment - focusing on 4 incl GK will be quite expensive. I think lot of users will decide to train 2-3 orders only.
2020-05-10 14:11:30
I think it currently work that way, but i'm not sure for 100%.
For now friendly + league game is more training (only a bit) than just one game, so i suppose it works the same - NT + league game is also a bit more, than just one offical one.

But - we still dont know many game algoritms, it's just my assumption.

Some french manager put a good question : why not use 11 training slots instead of 10 (thinking about the 11 slots of a match) ?

@raul
market is market - it's self-regulatory

^^ You really trust this market manage by this bid system? There was a time we had a regulation (i receive myself tax malus for "too high profit" few seasons ago...) now it's a wild system with no limits, too much money was distributed and circulated, too much transactions...

At some point we'll have to talk about market. Market is the heart of the un-challenging problems : training or official games by weeks depend on economic challenges... and economic MAINLY depend on market/trading challenge.

Sorry for this off-topic, but i can't heard that "self-regulatory" :-)

I assume to keep from current training slots of most skills

I agree market is self-regulating given enough time.
What this game lacks is a good "money sink". - something useful to spend money on that doesn't go to another player.

Currently the only on-going money sink is people going bot with millions in their account.
The coaches are a bit of one...until you get the coach you want.

Wages aren't high enough to act as one, and there are no other things to really spend a large amount of money on.

But I don't have any good ideas of a money sink for the game either. It needs to be something that targets rich players (because targeting poor ones doesn't do much), and be something that gives a small advantage, but one which generally isn't worth the millions you put in.

Maybe it should be how they return NT players from bot teams...they go on sale for 10x the "value". That way youths are still relatively affordable, but superstars go for above market price (ie a 3x Divine striker will be 30-40mill instead of 25mill)
2020-05-10 15:54:36
you forgot old players, they are the best for the money sink. But some of the richest clubs avoid buying old players. They either stay at low divisions so they dont have to buy them or they train the players from younsters and thus dont have to waste their money on buying old players

Are you serious ? Actually in 8 month i can get 60M€ profit from market, what the hell a new training system or new calendar will help in this challenge ?! i see many uncompetitive teams with a lot of cash, spending 10-20M€ for one top young player, in low divisions for years. Its "self regulation" in time ? seriously ^^

Well, i mean it about possibility of different types of players, created (or not) by new training - that will be a kind of self regulation.
I mean, we dont need to be afraid of training change - maybe we will have more MIDs, maybe more ATT (no idea how it will affect proportions between different types of players) - it doesnt matter, market will adjust, and it will be rather slow process, as it's now - prices are changing with every year, nothing wrong with that.

You talking about something different, and it's inflation - thats a problem for sure, and - for example putting on TL fired players or bot players can help here.

"Are you serious ? Actually in 8 month i can get 60M€ profit from market"

But it's taken you 11yrs for a 40M€ profit...

There will always be some players out there somehow doing crazy stuff with the market, but they aren't most users. Highest taxes, longer wait periods between buying and selling, limited buy/sells per season would all help this.

And markets do self regulate. There will always be a short term effect, one way or another, but people spend what they are willing to spend based on what they have in the bank, and what they need to player for. Short term is not reliable due to all the extra funds people have, but as time goes on, this money gets spent, people start to realise how much they can train a player for, and things even out at one level or another.

I dont like when people manipulate with the facts the way you do it.
Price adjustment was there because the price was too high. Not because your profit was too high.
The difference between sales and purchases is not a net profit and you know that. I guess I know who you talk about and I would say he doesnt have more than 15M euro.

Market is gonna regulate itself to some extent, but I have no doubt that juniors are gonna be more expensive than ever. How is the new player gonna feel when he sees his rival selling a junior for 20m€... We'll just wait and see.

focusing on 4 incl GK will be quite expensive.

My assistant coach says, "Hi" :D

unearthly [16] of stamina unearthly [16] of keeper

Sorry my bad @raul, in don't read "self regulation" in your context. i'm agree with you.

But for sure, at some point we'll have to talk about market... :)
2020-05-10 17:42:35
But it's taken you 11yrs for a 40M€ profit...

So what? That's just a FACT about making more profit in 8 month with zero challenge (i mean... 'high frequency transfer' challenge a part), You want more examples about team reaching top by using this challenge before? Take a seat. pop corn.

Anyway, off topic.. see you later in Trading topics...

I remember that TOG over than 10 years ago hired some swedish economist, in order to reform their training->market dynamics.

Here we read " market will regulate itself", but this is false in RL as everywhere else (unless you accept people starving and people swimming in money... with the same logic you can even says "pandemy will regulate itself".. )
