Love it;) anyway, hope we will a bit more modern at the end ;)

I hope so ;)

But it was to show how easy a good layout can be made. In Sokker we need to scroll up and down, while a lot of info can be put on 1 page, so no more scrolling is needed.

And a game like The Manager, that was less then 1.4MB, had so many options already :)

About the stadium part, money needs to get out of the game to prevent even more inflation. So something like stadium improvements could be an option. New improvements could help the mood of supporters to go up (not extra supporters for the club as this add more money in the game).

Anyway, too much offtopic.

One of the things that should be adjusted too is the distribution of junior skills.
It is demotivating when you see that you will pull 17yo briliant talented junior, you look forward training him and then you get this abomination:

very good [9] form, tragic [0] tactical discipline
height: 180 cm, weight: 79.4 kg, BMI: 24.51

adequate [6] stamina, unsatisfactory [2] keeper
weak [4] pace, weak [4] defender
unsatisfactory [2] technique, very good [9] playmaker
weak [4] passing, excellent [10] striker

I remember that there was supposed to be better skill distribution on high level juniors, but this does not seem like it :-).

I agree.

IMHO I think it gives more excitement to the game, they can't all be good players. Maybe it would be boring.
I understand your anger (it has happened to all of us), but it's like people that complain when they lose their games with worse teams, I think it's real and it keeps alive to sokker!
If best teams always win or everyone get good juniors, this would be very very boring.

First of all, i am not angry, i grew up some years ago and dont get angry with unimportant stuff in life.
I am just throwing an idea of improvement to the dev's radar.

I think it's real
Uhm, havent seen any real player like that :D. When you get a good junior with that kind of distribution (less skills), then ok. But this is was brilliant junior, lets compare him to real life almost top(brilliant) striker Paco Alcacer, you think he looked like that?

IMHO best option would be to put the juniors into the school with specific role (GK,DEF,MID,ATT) and then the skills would be generated like that. The juniors join the schools at age 16 or more, at that point (in real life) most of the players have their position. They can be trained into another position if the coach wants to.

You are exaggerating, You just want uber player if the junior shows promise for being such

Here's example of my player as junior right after YS (week 13th, though)
Kordian Głuszczyk, age: 17, height: 174 cm (ID 34708661)
[6]adequate stamina [2]unsatisfactory keeper
[2]unsatisfactory pace [6]adequate defender
[1]hopeless technique [7]good playmaker
[10]excellent passing [10]excellent striker
not much different than Yours

and here is how he is now:
Kordian Głuszczyk, age:30
club: Wściekłe Pięści Węża, country: Polska
value: 1 707 500 $, wage: 37 025 $
tragic [0] form, outstanding [12] tactical discipline
height: 174 cm, weight: 75.9 kg, BMI: 25.07

formidable [11] stamina, unsatisfactory [2] keeper
unearthly [16] pace, formidable [11] defender
unearthly [16] technique, unearthly [16] playmaker
divine [17] passing, incredible [13] striker

and pace already dropped; he is imo great player (except form) and his skills also werent distributed like in a dream
2020-05-14 13:12:15
There is a big difference between those two players, which is passing.
While your player is perfectly fit to be a MID, my player is not fit to be either MID nor ATT.
2020-05-14 13:19:34
but he has lower pace, tech, pm and passing is fastest skill to train

imo they are both destined to be off mids and dont need striker trainings to achieve that
your could be for example
16 11
16 14
14 13
and this is imo great off mid player, wont play for NT, but still powerful one

Combination of high passing and striking is the worst thing that can happen.
Kryms junior had worse distribution, although he was a much stronger junior.

Your player isn't that bad. He will be a "smart" striker.
The disappointing thing about your junior is that your coach made a mistake, that is not a 14.

Also since the training is gonna be so flexible, we kinda need players to have some weird "flavor."
2020-05-14 13:21:43
I am not arguing that the player cannot be trained to be a good player. I am arguing that the starting skill distribution is an abomination. :-)
2020-05-14 13:26:01
well 38 points + 6 stamina and and 35 + 6 stamina is not exactly the same also...so if you add those points to your player it has also 7 pass and then it is not that bad...your player is ideal for someone who wants to train him as wing att....but he needs a lot of work for sure...
2020-05-14 13:41:08
His skill distribution is bad indeed but it is pretty easy to imagine worse one. And, since he still can be good player then with tweaking his development more towards specific position during YS training he would definitely achieve greatness and it would be very easy for any junior (because in this case skill distribution was bad)
moreover, we all know that some positions are more skill-hungry than the others and if You encounter talented junior with bad overall level then You would assign him def (because needs lowest sumskill to be great and his sumskill is bad, but with right skills distribution could ultimately be very good with that talent) and all this junior training would be easy, too easy, achieving great effects would be too simple
2020-05-14 14:20:02
> Uhm, havent seen any real player like that :D.

Maybe because they finally dedicate to other thing outside soccer :P

Not every junior player becomes a professional player, there's no room for them all!
2020-05-14 14:23:41
+1
2020-05-14 14:39:11
Brilliant juniors do.

That skill distribution is not good for a Sunday league.

But we all do not have to agree on that, i said my piece, and wont change my opinion on that ;-).
2020-05-14 14:52:16
there should be considered to change training pass and play to all positions(or at least on some others then just MID-pass all and play to DEF too)....there are some defenders and also some strikers that can make some good passes and can be good playmakers...

if you leave it like this then if your first team trainees needs a lot of pass and you pull new player from youth school that needs a lot of play you can't train them both....and maybe you want to make one striker to have high pass-play so he can play like a off striker or wing but but then he must play as at MID and then whole other mids must train that skill....that would help a lot in training flexibility...

also there training should not be connected to position that player played most minutes on...because you can play player with DEF order important games in league and cup but in international cup game you want to train him at MID because other defs need pace and that player needs play...

also in training tab should be some red reminder how much training will that training give and that he will get more training with DEF mark on training...

something like this when you open tab to specify what mark you want that player should train:
DEF mark: 100 %
MID mark: 80 %
ATT mark: 15 %
GK mark: 5 %

maybe also some shades with how much training he gets until now and how much he will get if he plays with current match setups...green if he played with that order and grey if he still has one more match to play this week...but that would maybe complicate it a bit...

DEF mark: 100 % 105%
MID mark: 80 % 105%
ATT mark: 15 % 30%
GK mark: 5 % 10%
