Well they obviously have no idea what they are doing, there is no big picture vision for this game.
They are making micro changes and then they are surprised by how they work. Vide introducing 2 games/week and then being surprised that they created an inflation, when some people told them from day 1 that it will happen because they are adding tons of extra money every season.
So then they started thinking how they can stop the inflation that they created, so they decided that the easy 1st step will be making wages much higher. Which is obviously stupid because before they announced that they will try to make the game more competitive, while their changes were good/neutral for people staying in low leagues, training youths and bad for teams that wanted to win something.

Free agents in TL every day. more players in the market, lower prices. money is lost and inflation goes down..
That would actually be BAD for new/small users.
High player prices are in a way GOOD for them, because they still have to build stadium, hire coaches, open youth school etc. and these are all fixed prices that are not touched by inflation. In other words, you earn more from training, you pay the same as before for stadium/coaches etc.
Another problem is that with massive free agents the youth school would be even less profitable.

That is the biggest problem of sokker, the game is not competitive.
if you want sokker to be more competitive, you have to make it harder for teams to pile up a lot of money - so fan expectations are a small step in the right direction.
High salaries will be stopped, if nobody can afford them - players won't get training to 18 if the market demands players with lower salaries.
The problem for me is the slow speed and the lack of communication in this process.

Of course People will not train to 18 anymore but still the salary is higher than before.
When it will be harder to pile up a lot of money you will not get a more competitive game in sokker because new teams cant go up and only the rich teams will stay on top, they will sit on their money.
Even with the high tax rich teams at the top can play it zero on the balance and new users cant reach top anymore with these tax and salaries.

There is also option to add end of season tax for money on account - something like 10%, so that would force managers to go for result without having 200+ mil euro on account.
And this tax would only apply for managers with 30+ mil euro so normal or young managers are not affected.
But definitely whatever they do they need to announce it before they decide to do it

Yes, that is a better way to make the game more competitive, tax on 30 million euro + accounts. Must be around 20% tax a season at least.
As I said, otherwise rich People will sit on their money and no way it will be competitive in sokker.
The current changes are even making it worse.

You can't force people to make them competitive, they need to want it... otherwise it's pointless
You add such a tax? No problem, they will buy 10 youths for 15m euro each, that's already 150m euro...
It's also not a good idea because there are always, even when being competitive, moments when you need to change the squad, rebuild it, or make it younger etc. so you will have 20, 40, or more millions on the account...
That's one problem, another one is that if you suddenly force people to start playing, they will flood whole market with billions of euro... there won't be enough players for the demand, the prices will go crazy... suddenly it will be hard not to have 30m euro on the account :p

Why not to make a mix of some proposals?

You can simply use Gaussian or Pareto distribution to identify from which ammount you start taxing. Effect will only affect the very rich teams.
Then you can make a pause and see what happens..,

Making changes without thinking and then looking at results is exactly what brought last wave of inflation to the game
People having money is NOT the problem. You can take 90% of money from everyone and after couple of months you will already have the rich 1%. If you know how to make money on trading here you will always make money, it you don't know or don't care you will always be poor.
The problem is that people with money don't want to spend them and play the game.
The problem is that people play the game just to make money or train because other aspects suck.
The problem is the trading is the only viable way of making money - you don't make (as much) money on long-term training, you don't make money on youth school, you don't make money on winning trophies etc. It's a game base only on trading, the faster you trade, the better for your team.
The problem is that people who start playing the game have to become traders otherwise they will never achieve anything, especially in big countries.

Agree with this, and with several restrictions there won't be any "funny" aspect left why to spend time here, nothing to build or getting better around your team
A simple idea to execute XD
- more "best" players in young team...
- less players with tech or pace in 0...
- more "best" players in young team...

Even simpler: increase the number of Juniors that come to the school every week
With just a change of a number:
- There Will be more Juniors, so the worst ones Will be filtered by the users and the good ones Will go to the market (some of them)
- Top Juniors Will be more common and luck won't be so much concentrated in a few teams
- More Juniors = cheaper juniors in the market
- Expenses of the youthschool will increase a little (less money in the Game)

I just sold 6 players, I had no idea about the new taxes. Game keeps getting worse.

Just sold almost all my players :) what a rip off. It looks like they are trying really hard to get rid of the remaining users.
