+1000 to this.

I have 2 talented 20 year old juniors (or were) on my team. One has 3.2 talent and is the only reason he'll be 'okay'. The other is newer and was a divine pull mid 20th year. I paid maybe 100k or so combined for both.
Yet if you get a 16 year old early in the season you can make 100 times this much money. It's absurd.

I bought the former players because I am a new team, and am broke constantly trying to compete above my level.

I just opened youth school this season and I basically reject everyone, predicted talent regardless, if they are already 18 years old and will come out near 20, and anyone younger who is starting from a trash level. I have FOUR kids in my school. Two I'm not even sure will be worth anything when they finish.

Trophymanager does youth school way, way better than this. I am new over there too (well, 8 months)...and I already have my own mini-rebuild going and my training centers are 80 soon to be 90% efficient. I barely touch the market there at all anymore. I am self-sufficient.

ok then, lest make it a bit more transparent and allow you all to pick up next priorities.
I will prepare summary of our plans anf reforms, with dedicated threads.
I think we have few major updates in plans, but as it was mentioned - we can develop one at the time, so we can finally get a voting.
possible reforms are:
- youth acadamy system (fixing problem with useless old junior, new ptions, club facilities to build etc.)
- form system (allow you somehow to affect players form increasing / decreasing, of course it will stay a bit random still)
- competitions reform - introduce international cup with group stage for everyone. To keep 3 games per week model national cup would be converted in true play offs - after you get eliminated there will be no chance for friendly in that day)
- skills reform - extending (or rescalling) to 20 skills model & maybe some other ideas to avoid multidevine players.

you will get details about each of it in upcoming days.

International cup for everyone it's stupid especially if injuries still like this..

after you get eliminated there will be no chance for friendly in that game

Yes that is realy a strange thing indeed ;)
But I do prefer the international cup above the other mentioned changes.

I like the idea of voting.

Raul will do nothing about injuries, he told me at this forum this week.
2024-03-11 11:02:55
I didn't really understand this part - I guess that we will keep 3 matches for training in ALL weeks?

Out of those options the international cup seems the best option.

Youth System? Yeah it needs looking at but it's only a problem because of the economy.

Personally I wouldn't touch form. Allowing people to manipulate that could cause problems.

Skill Reform? Seems like a turning the volume up to 11 situation and I'd imagine a lot of work for questionable reward.

I'm like a broken record with this but you have to improve the financial situation for new clubs.

I believe it was written before drinking some coffee, since it doesn't make any sense :D

After translating it 1:1 into Polish, I get some idea :D It should be something like this "once knocked out of cup, You will not be able to play friendlies"
2024-03-11 11:16:37
Maybe it should be "day" instead of "game"?

I would like the devs to implement the option, when a player get injured on the match, for longer than 7 days, that the opposite player that commited the foul, gets a red card.
I dont like the randomness that my trainee gets a 24 days injury without any consequence for the opposite team

Maybe just give injured players 50% training for the time they are out. Losing a trainee for 5 weeks of training is a killer, or any player for effectively 10 games.

i mean, 3 offcial slots would be: 2x league games, and 1x international cup, with group stage (6 games for sure) then you can place a friendly on that date.
It means that national cup would be a extra comeptition, 4th in week, but after you will be eliminated in it, there will be no chance for additional friendly in that place.
remember, that 75% teams are eliminated in cup after 2 weeks, almost 90% after 3 weeks.

anyway - it is just a sneak peak of possible reforms, you will get details soon - one threat per each reform and then we will go into voting.

I vote for the new junior school system for sure. It could solve so many ingame problems including broken transfer market.
