remove injuries

not gonna happen, i dont like them either, but it increases emotions, and thats good ;)
but sure they will be adjusted for number of games & maybe some solutions for NT teams.

what is good of it :(
when you had 10 injuries in 3 games 9 of them on trainees you will stop thinking this way
2020-05-28 18:46:51
and not get me started how injured player plays on the field less random better game :)

Show me some best game ever without random factors ;)

Totally agree, no injuries no emotion. A football game without injuries is not a football game. it's good for market too.
Injures get a lot of emotion when you're watching a live match.

ahh i hate how randomly pick RL its a game after all :) game based its training on playing minutes ...

Maybe played minutes could become actual training, despite of an injury. That would make injuries a bit less hated by everybody haha

The discussion about the training is very interesting.

Basic training, let's say - 60%.
Friendly: another 20%.
Official game 35%

Let´s say we have 2 league matches per week and one cup match/friendly. What is our goal? People playing the best players in league, training players playing in cup/friendly and gathering a few minutes in the league for more training.

I expect people to put all 10 of their training players in friendly. Some users will consider 80% of training enough, some will give training players minutes in the league. So we need 20 more % of training for the full training of these players. That´s about 50 league minutes in two league matches combined.

When neglecting league (corner tactics, walkovers) results in a drastic loss of fans/sponsors/attendance and you have totally 180minutes in 2 league matches, but already 50minutes is enough for full training, It would be a really bad strategy to neglect the league.

The situation gets complicated with more than 3 official matches and with the International cup. It results in very uneven number of official and friendly matches which cause hard-to-solve problems.

So I think option 3 which Devs consider the best is viable without the International cup, with minimum of 14 weeks and if the problem of small countries is dealt with. Leagues in the smallest countries won't be any more attractive with 2 league matches per week or with more teams in the league. I think the merge of national leagues in countries with a minimal number of (x) users could be considered. Another disadvantage of small countries is that they would play much fewer cup matches (which give much higher bonus to training than friendlies), especially if more leagues/bot team are gonna be deleted there.

It's all about final balance of training bonuses - official games will give you better training, but you must remember, that even without playing games basic training will be recived, friendlies will be less important, but also give another part of bonus.
Well, either option sounds bad: If the training bonus is big you have to play your reserves in competitve games and be punished for it financially. If it is small, you can play your first team in all competitions, and young trainees won't get playing time at all except a few friendlies per season.

Not at all, because if you will skew competitions, you will be eliminated, and forced to use friendlies instead of offcial games, so it will be less effective
By "skew" I meant more that some managers will play their first team in the national cup and their reserves in the international one, and some the other way around. So both competitions will become quite random since it's luck whether you face a first team or a reserve team of your opponent.

Besides, if you play mostly with your first team to stay in the cup longer it won't help you in terms of training since younger trainees won't get to play. It's only a tradeoff between training and money/fan mood.

Overall this sounds like there will be way too complicated strategic decisions that have nothing to do with football. It will be more about understanding the specific mechanisms of Sokker, which would kind of kill the character as a football manager game. If I want an abstract strategy game I play chess ;)

Reserve teams would be a revolutionary move
Not really, it would basically just be having friendlies every week in addition to cup games (and without having to schedule friendlies every week). The idea is to make the cup more meaningful by allowing managers to play with their first team without losing training. And younger trainees would still get to play every week. (Or, as I said, basically have the international cup as a reserve team competition instead.)

Self-regulating market

I hope you are seeing this, Raul.

Economy of the game needs to shed some money.

I still miss the Game economy topic where would people discuss how to solve this problem

Was that a superdivine junior? :D
2020-05-28 21:04:17
he is not better than Gočár who was "only" unearthly. But what surprises me is that there were several bids this high and it is not in some wild bidwar but two days before deadline.
2020-05-28 21:05:48
well crazy price for me
2020-05-28 21:34:16
No info on his junior skill on forum.

It's just an estimate from a coach anyway :)
