I would guess that the expectations depend largely on money and maybe the average team/individual marks.

There are teams with a lot of money in lower leagues, but their fans don't expect a placement at the top.
Probably because of their low marks, due to them training young players.

The league position in the past season doesn't seem to be a big factor.

Was the world Cup draw supposed to happen yesterday or I'm mistaken?

This is going to hurt people who play normally but have just saved more money over the years.

They will be forced to either spend it now, creating further inflation, or go to the lower leagues until, again, they decide to spend it.

how so? they can just continue to play normally, for them it will probably be a minor boost/hinder
I am one of such users and I dont see that it can do much harm to my team and in case of good season it can be helpful, but again, I dont think it will be much helpful

My fans expected me to easily win my country's top division even though I've never won it and my team is 5-6th in strength - just because I have more money than other teams.

So if I wanted to keep playing at that level, the fans would be constantly disappointed. I had to either invest to win the league or go down and play with €10k players so I don't care what the fans have to say.

So the end result is one less strong team in an already weak championship... and at a later stage I will have to pour my bank into the market, which otherwise I might never have done

it will probably be a minor boost/hinder

Well, it'll certainly be interesting to see the effect on stadium income. Amusingly, Sokker predicts my stadium income this season to be 21% higher than last season. We shall see, dear Sokker calculator, we shall see ;o)

Other than that, from a gaming perspective, it sucks a little that you can't fully satisfy your supporters for an entire season no matter what you do. I'd have thought they'd make it harder - not outright impossible.

I have just register my team, but i’m afected by last team’s expectations. My fans mood is now in the 2nd worst level.

Pretty tough start.

=(

The new expectations are yet to implement, so just wait... It'll get better.
2024-03-17 21:29:17
New expectations are already here.
2024-03-17 21:30:22
I will

=)

That should be fixed soon, it is a bug.

Thanks, Raúl

When (if) there will be a tab for expectations and season bonus?
2024-03-18 02:39:18
You made a promise 1000 years ago. Cup matches would be played at the stadium of the big team. In this way, clubs would earn more income. We still play matches at the field of the newly affiliated club. Match revenue is low and the field ground is very bad.

You can always check it manually by writting expectations to your leagues statistics

we have a user in Croatia that promotes sokker.org as his own page, on his web design company page...
but I see no new "baby boom" in our country xD

I know, but it doesn't make sense that an important feature doesn't even has a tab to access to it, Is like a secret restricted only for those of us who check in the forums.
