whilst we are making game changes, might as well bump this up so we don't continue the decay of small nations in sokker

Is there any deadline or date by which merging of leagues is going to occur? It's been almost 3 years in Sokker for me and all I'm doing is playing bots.

For me the solution is not the merger of leagues, the best thing you can do is invite your friends, neighbors, relatives, co-workers, to play sokker

example how did you get to sokker? it may be that they look for others to arrive in the same way

Atleast let those people that are with 10 managers or less decide which country they wanna start their team with, and with kind of youth players (own country or country in which they are residence)

Bots are the worst.
Merging of leagues would be great. I have lost about 500 supporters over the last 5 odd seasons because my team doesn't have any decent competition.
Seems like a punishment for me.

Not everyone is interested in playing such games.
Most people want the players to have actual names like real life players for some reason.
I had 2 friends who joined but lost interest.
I'm 37 yrs old. Most folks in India my age don't have any interest. Cricket still rules in India.

You think 3 yrs playing against bots is bad.
I was the first Indian manager.
For me it's been about 17 or 18 yrs lol.

I really hope the devs dont turn a blind eye to you and other people that have the same issue.

But I have more hope nowadays, there's actually things being done which is nice to see so i'll refrain from complaining....Today.

Still stand by that merging would resolve our issues. There are complexities to be worked through obviously but I’d still like to retain our national cups/national forum and national players from youth schools etc to keep the local community aspect (because that’s the best part of the game) but for all other purposes such as league structure, champions cup spots, supporters, sponsorship etc happy for that to be decided based off the merged countries/league. Pipe dream given the amount of things that still need work but I’ve been dreaming almost 20yrs, what’s another 1-2 :p

Spoken from someone who obviously doesn’t live in a society which just doesn’t work that way. We’ve been told go invite people since the issue was first raised over 10 years ago. To put it simply it’s unhelpful and doesn’t work. I also doubt any advertising will work long term either, it’s just not that kind of market here.

Last I heard was they wanted to try advertising first to see if users could grow that way as it was believed that would work. I’m far less optimistic myself but if it does work I’ll be first in line to admit I was wrong. I think it will work in some regions but unlikely to work long term in the countries screaming for users/ equalisation.

Advertising may or may not work. Even if it works, it will take another few years for those clubs to be competitive. I think merging is the best option. Honestly, I'm starting to lose my patience. At least, the Devs should be clear whether they want to merge the leagues or not. If they aren't in the near future, I might as well leave the game since there's no point in playing. Why should I waste my time in a game which I'm not enjoying? I can spend that time elsewhere.
