Subject: [Idea] Merge of small countries/leagues

Advertising may or may not work. Even if it works, it will take another few years for those clubs to be competitive. I think merging is the best option. Honestly, I'm starting to lose my patience. At least, the Devs should be clear whether they want to merge the leagues or not. If they aren't in the near future, I might as well leave the game since there's no point in playing. Why should I waste my time in a game which I'm not enjoying? I can spend that time elsewhere.

For me the solution is not the merger of leagues, the best thing you can do is invite your friends, neighbors, relatives, co-workers, to play sokker

Try playing bots for 3 years and then make the same comment. You are playing in a country with an active league structure. If you feel that my concern is so useless, why don't you create a club in India and give us some company? It's easy to give opinions for you.

Atleast let those people that are with 10 managers or less decide which country they wanna start their team with, and with kind of youth players (own country or country in which they are residence)

I would always prefer to start in my own country. I'll lose interest if I start in some other country and I'm sure it will be the same for most of the other folks, there might be exceptions though.

I don't know everyone's experience but it is a solution that you can give yourself. Not everything can be solved by the developers and no thanks I'm fine with my Venezuela Team. Something if I tell you if you feel very frustrated look for another entertainment life is one and I think sokker does not allow you to live it well

What if countries with less than 12 users (1 full league) are part of a (rest of America / Europe / Asia / Africa) group which would create random divisions with all participations of that group, but as NT squads, the country stands on it's own....so not rest of... but simply...New Zealand or other small countries.

And once 1 country exceeds 48 users at the end of a season, that country can become a stand-alone country with it's own league IF at least 51% of the users voted in favor of autonomy over fusion.
This way you have at least a short term solution which creates it's own long term solution if the marketing would be a succes.
And maybe, countries with 100+ users will automatically become autonomous at the end of a season.

I said it then and you are saying the same, even if advertising did work, it would take many seasons for those who have been loyal to sokker in these small nations to even get any competition. Countries require skilled and experienced users to help the new people grow and stay interested and by them not caring at all about these managers, they are shooting themselves in the foot.

I also said I doubt they will even do advertising within this timeframe, or stick to their two seasons.

Well its been more than 2 seasons Raul. Small countries continue to be small and not grow. Users continue to get frustrated at being ignored and therefore won't give further free advertising. I even got historical plus for the amount of users I got back in to the game, but gave up because of the being ignored and devs not helping themselves.

It really is time, because without small nations that can't even fill 2 leagues (which is important due to all financial calculations being based on supporter size), the NT structure dies, competition dies, countries that currently gloat because they think they are one of the better countries end up being at the bottom thus reducing their own interest and losing members there too.

They haven't even finished they layout changes, they are far from finishing the "general changes"... didn't even touch youth school, coaches etc.

Yeah, I guess we need to keep reminding them every now and then. That's the only thing that we can do currently.

This is one of the problems with the strange decision of 1-3-9-27. Ofcourse it should have been 1(-1)-2-4-16. With 2x a division of 12 teams it would have been like football in RL, and small(er) countries could have been filled up much easier with full leagues. And even a 3th division with 2 leagues and a 4th division with 4 leagues would have been more then enough for many countries. A 5th division with 16 extra leagues would have more than enough for all countries, except Poland. They would need a 6th division of 16 or 32 leagues.

And this would have made it more fun; become champion of the division and promote to next division, or by play offs. THIS IS FUN!!

I don't understand the way DEVs think! Coming up with the idea that there should not be too many divisions, while there are so few managers left, and also most are small(er) countries.

And I think a small country with it's own competition should have at least 18 active managers. 6 active managers in each league of 2nd division. The next season the best 4 teams of each league promote to 1st division.

And I still think bot teams should use different basic tactics, randomly 1 of 5 tactics, so it looks more like managers are playing against active teams with different tactics. To make that happen all current tactics should de deleted, and a few new ones should be implemented, ofcourse only 5 normal tactics like for example 532, 433, 442, 352 and 4231

Small countries NT could be saved with an Y.S reform, if and only if every juniors becomes random country (wish is not planned like that)

Merging will never happen since its required so much specific programming as i already said in this topic. But we can switch to international leagues only for all and keep it forums/countries community like it is : it's much more "simple" design move. And its also logical : no games, even successful games, can't work without merging players from all nations to better find (human) opponents in multiplayer games.

I'm playing under the hope that merging of leagues will happen. The day the Devs state that merging is not going to happen, I'll leave the game that day itself.

At least it is something they should take into consideration.
Above all, having fun is still the main reason to play a game.
