Subject: [GD] Injuries

2022-07-21 15:35:47
I think devs should set 14 days as maximum injury length, it's a game btw :). I also think form is a bigger problem, sometimes we can't use some top players for more than a season, because of shit form, it's stupid.

+1
I think that number of injuries is not the problem. Problem is the length of injuries which is extreme if we consider how many official games can longterm injured player miss

+1 its not about the good or bad luck is about injuries to be adjusted to the new reality...

Adjusted to your reality.

That cannot be only bad luck.
Should be something about your tactic, you pitch or maybe some players are more susceptible to be injuried.
(I am quite lucky with injuries but had one guy always injuried so I am wondering if there is maybe an hidden attribute...)

adjusted to the short season and bigger frequency of the games....

i have divine pitch and pay the max amount for maintenance

i had seasons with same tactics and no injuries and seasons with the same tactic and 3 injuries per game

what was promised in the start of development: our goal is to give opportunity new teams to catch top teams faster...
what is the reality new system with ratio of injuries makes traders and rich teams richer ...
yes probably there is a hidden attribute but what that means you need to buy and sell .... so again bonus for traders...

I also think that injuries depend on condition orders of player and his placement in tactic I do not have prove for this anyone have observations or study about this?
2022-07-22 15:29:15
Statistically, just based on player orders in matches, DEFs are less likely to be injured, ATTs are more likely to be injured, MIDs and GKs are in the middle.

It was about 2% chance per each player for MIDs and GKs in a match, about 1% chance for DEFs, and about 3% chance for ATTs. I can't find the exact values now but it was very close to these.

thanks, that's good to know but i was talking more if a player with defender skills is used in the tactic in the midfield with mid orders but i assume you do not have that info about the skills of players

Pretty sure it is impossible to gather such statistics in meaningful amount as "in the midfield" can be subjective in itself. But I would assume that it is still less of a chance for injury because defs tend to get rid of the ball asap regardless if they are in mid or def position so less chance for getting tackled etc.

I have a theory...

It all depends on the amount of risk a player takes and the state the player is in.

Minor Risk = Risk level 0
A player running has minor risk to get injured.
The same with a player controlling a ball, passing a ball or shooting at goal.
A GK ''doing'' something is also calculated as minor risk.

Normal Risk = Risk level 1
A player running with the ball has normal risk

High Risk = Risk level 2
A player receiving a tackle has higher risk

Risk increases with age and low form, but the latter solely because players with low form tend to keep the ball longer and thus increase the risk by ''running with the ball'' AND ''chances of getting tackled''

Also, all risk are increased with minor injured players and players with low stamina, playing more than the player can physically handle.
This is the main reason why young players get injured so often

In theory, I see injury risk as the following...

U21, High form, High stamina: Risk 0
+21 / U27, medium form, medium stamina: Risk 1
+27, low form, low stamina: Risk 2

All actions = Risk +1

So, statistically...

A 31y old defender with formidable stamina and divine form has risk level 2
An 18y old striker with poor stamina in weak form has also risk level 2 but because of low form the risk for getting injured with ball posession is higher than with the 31y old player

This is never confirmed nor denied nor stated by anyone, but I feel these numbers to be reasonable if I look at the kind of players getting injured...
It is just a theory...my theory.

my 20yr player had 13days injury yesterday and it is still 13days today, guess i should not complain, he could have been injured for 26days instead
2022-07-27 00:16:51
My player Sergienko get injured for 19 days in friendly match, so he will miss one more friendly, 2 matches for NT, and at least 4 matches of league, its minimum 7 games, it's fair ?

stupid game how to cover wing with att orders without fucked up training or fucked up the game on other mids...one more reason stupid injuries to be reduced

I wonder if it's normal 26y player with 13 days injury to not heal every day ...
I think that healing update is not running every day ..
