He is refering to my proposal to do this without touching the ME. If you do that, you cant change the extra defending points being distributed to the defenders in case you replace the goalkeeper in the middle of the match (because that would require changing complex things in the match engine): the trick he is proposing is, if GK defender skill becomes important, he would put a real defender as goalkeeper, and then replace him in minute 1 with a true goalkeeper. Since GK defending points would have already been distributed along the defenders and the substitute goalkeeper wont change that, you would have gained a true goalkeeper in your Goal with the effect of a superdivine defender skill goalkeeper in your other defenders.

This comment is to argue a defect in Fractura's proposal, it would be done to strengthen the attributes of the defenders in the first minutes and they would replace them after a few minutes.

Why is it stupid? it is not even frequent in real life. Is just a very little sacrifice fot a bigger gain (being able to have complex goalkeepers without touching the ME).

and again: if the keeper is injured, he would be normally replaced. The impossibility of substituting a GK would only be there for the attempt of substituting him deliberately

You cannot compare real life with sokker...totally different.
But now you have the possibility to sub the GK when he receives a red card with the ''red card or no player'' order.
As long as nothing can be done about the ME, leave everything as it is. Best solution

Another alternative could be not being able to sub the goalkeeper for the first 22 minutes or so (half a half).
That would be enough punishment to the attempt of placing a real defender as a goalkeeper to gain defence bonus distribution: the risk of playing 22 minutes with a poor goalkeeper is too big.

So in case the subtitution minute is less than 22, you dont allow the substitution. Its also easy to implement.

No. You can replace a player from the pitch, but you cant sub him with someone from the bench.
In case the keeper gets a red card, a player from the pitch other than #1 should be replacing him, and that order would still be possible (as I already told above).

Maybe is a good idea, but just that I dont think so... the game need a real macro plan but we only can wait.

they probably can but they need to be outside their box to do that and it is almost impossible to drag the gk out of the penalty box
