Subject: Injured player not getting training

I don't really understand the logic behind not giving player the training for already played matches if he gets injured at the end of the week. Like what, the fact that he played in those matches magically disappears? I think this "feature" should be removed as I believe it's quite a big of a punishment itself already if the player misses next training completely.

They don't do anything to make our job easier.
For example
think about your player played game and he injured and wednesday hes 8 days injury. in thursday he will be slightly injury he must get training but no he wont because training update first later injury update. What a stupid update...

The logic is that if player is injured, he can't physically train, that's why he is missing Thursday day, he is watching TV, scrolling etc., but not training, despite the fact he played in games earlier.
This logic makes sense, but I agree it could be differently.

The logic is that the match IS the training, and thus the minutes he did play should count as training.
Thursday is only the day to physically import the training minutes generated from the matches.
I can relate the 50% base training is not taken into count because that might be seen as ''no match training on thursday''
Also...irl, injured players could train in the gym (depending on the kind of injury) - maintaining the overall fitness

I don't say that this logic which I wrote should be part of game (even if it is right now), I more or less I agree with you.
Genesis wrote "I don't really understand the logic behind...", so i wrote the logic, which game is based :)

there seems to be a bug where a player with slight injury doesn't receive training:

So he was ok to play 90 minutes on Wednesday, not injured in the game, still did not receive training on Thursday.

His improvement in teamwork suggests that he got the training, but it would need to checked by devs on decimal values in regular skills to see if they improved

His injury box is still white...though he has only 5 days left...
Can devs confirm that this is possible or a bug?

Injured players must receive training for the time spent on the field before injury.
They play and work on skills so the injury should be only the end of that training and not more.

If not injuries on Wednesday can erase the whole work of a week and this is no good for the game itself because players won't better their skills.

Other solution could be a fast cure that could reduce injury times by paying a medician . In this way we could at least avoid the 8th day problem.

I think maybe it depends on type of training - i.e. more physical training may be lost but more mental training can be gained? i.e. if you tear your achilles then no way you will become faster

In sokker, you won't catch anyone talking about "Achilles tears." It's all about plain old "injuries" causing havoc and leaving us guessing. Imagine this: a player deals with not just physical knocks but also the emotional weight of possible racist comments. Like, seriously, could even be an injury, right? :p

Here's the deal: we all know the game devs are tinkering away, and we're all trying to nudge them to make changes that'll play out in our favor. If a player has an injury of 8 days or more, they shouldn't be able to get any training, as i was in the good ol' days. (Maybe the 8 days threshold could be lowered to 5, because of the many competitive games)

But guess what the devs did? They rolled out 2 league games a week, which sounds cool, except they didn't tweak the injury downtime that much (went from 36 days max to 29 days, give or take). Injuries used to be a pain, mostly 'cause they meant missed training. Now, it's even worse 'cause players can't get in on all those competitive matches. And if you're gunning for the championship, it's a bummer to be held back by these long injuries.

Then, get this, the devs are all in on making benches more competitive for managers. They're banking on these moves to spice up the seasons. Okay, that's cool, but if they want these super-sub players on the bench (you know, the ones who can step up for the main squad), they better open up more training spots. Just my two cents!
