It's a bad thing to make the rich richer.
As far as pulling the plug, I'd welcome a clean reset. I'm already the 5th or 6th best team in my country, after only 3+ seasons. A clean reset and I'd probably crush everyone.

It's not to make the rich richer but to make them invest in their club. Sitting on your money is a very bad way of management imo.
at least if you have no use for your money, it stops escalating the advantage you have over newer players.
No it doesn't. My team, and that of many other older teams is balanced out to be able to be economically profidable on high(er) divisions.
We have a big stadium, good sponsorship, the best trainers, the best kind of trainees AND a spare to invest in our team when random makes it harder for us.
New teams still need to invest all their money into their club before they reach the place older teams have.
There's a 16y old being sold for almost 40M as we speak. And that is exactly because some teams are sitting on their money to be able to buy such players. So the escalation won't ever stop for the best of the best. If you're talking about average youngsters, then you're right. The problem stays the same in the end, because the poorer teams train the average players and still make not enough money because nobody wants to buy an average player and pay lots of money for it.
