Double the skill range, Double skills, Double training speed.... would make it ten times funnier to Open sokker on thursdays... simple green color More often is fun.
In addition to my youth school proposal this makes sense too, since that would require small downscale of talent

I understand the idea, and fun, it's now boring as hell with so few greens by weeks.
But It does not making much sense until the game engine is not "double" too.
If you double an excellent skill, you can get green ups but it's still an excellent skill on the field. In definitive if you artificially double skills greens will lose their interest. Great, 5 ups this week ! But hey, nothing better on field. f*!
They will never touch the game Engine. So for me the game should re-invent the training system for making things more fun. for example, more greens could happen, but even more reds ! :-)

Well... in the field i think that decimals are taken into account. Really, the game could scale de 0-18 values used in engine (well, perhaps engine accepts 19 or 20).
But a 0-18 "real" internal value can be showed (and greened) from 0 to 36 or (for number for humans) 0 to 100. You will see a lot of green :). Or putting a tag on it like (low/normal/high) on current values.
But yes. It's boring too little green. But on other hand, exact number crunching is perhaps too excel game and not a football one

They shouldn't touch the engine neither tactics, that's what this game is all about and what makes it great, the rest UI's more stats, hall of fame, training system, youths, maybe 2 additional skills etc.. these are worthy to be worked on. Double skills to me it's meh rather not, if someone wants a lot of green, then buy 16 y.o and have fun, they pop all the time. If you play competitive, then it's not about green on Thursdays ;)
