Subject: 29y drop skill

Is it normal a 29 year old player to drop a skill? It happened with my striker today. He's playing every league game.

Pace starts droping since player is 28yo, other skills since 30yo so yes it is normal and it always was like that.

It was pace indeed. Anyway, I checked and I couldn't find it in rules. I think it should be there.

Age
After each season your players get older by one year. Younger players enhance their skills faster. As a player approaches his 30's, his skills may begin to gradually deteriorate. The older a player the faster the deterioration.

That's only for all other skills besides stamina and pace.

@ The Ripper: I don't hold screens for players, but I've seen and had them multiple times.
For pace 27 is the youngest age in which they can drop in skill, 100% sure of it.

I had a keepper that dropped from superdivine with 27 too. I thought I had dreamed it until now :P

Theoretically drop/down could happen at every ages since deterioration happen now with zero training. In rare cases i can imagine.

But It doesn't say when skill age deterioration happen.

Since training scale has been downgrade to 12 weeks i am not sure devs change anything according this age/scale. Theoretically, if players are older faster (x1.3) age deterioration may happen sooner, 30y officially -1.33, around 28,5y

Sure, so it shouldn’t be a problem with so many users to collect some data about dropping skills at age 27 and younger.
It only needs 1 case to confirm

it should still be a problem I guess usually coaches train their players :-) I suppose we can imagine an injured player u27 being forced out of training, losing a skill. A rare case.
