Subject: 29y drop skill

it should still be a problem I guess usually coaches train their players :-) I suppose we can imagine an injured player u27 being forced out of training, losing a skill. A rare case.

But let's try yourself, for the science :-p

It should’t be a problem. If Dtox9 had multiple players drop pace at 27 yo then there should be thousand examples all over sokker.

I do in fact have a player that was 27 and did not train for 10 weeks straight. No decrease though.

It should be very easy to do with a superdivine in pace because any decrease will result in a skill drop.

Ed. Obviously it would have to be a player who just popped from GT or superdivine to make it work if it is possible

drops are totally random! They occur between 0.0 and 0.50 skillpoints... I don't know if the drops are absolute or if there is an algoritm that first calculates IF a drop occurs, before ''how much''.

As for myself...I don't have any players at age 27 in my team for a long time now. I just recently bought players from ages 28 to 31 to strengthen my team, but before I played around 5 seasons with only trainees in my A-team, except a few loners for filling.

Fact for 27 year olds... It were always players with high pace. On low pace (excellent and below) it seems I didn't saw those drops.
I don't know for sure, but it might be always the case with superdivine / divine, so that means only very minor drop since superdivine isn't a higher level than divine, it's actually divine max. And those cases were from before the training changes also...

I do think this could stand to be clarified, though.

nah, wrong

you can get more than 1.01 in one drop

I had a player drop two levels at one go

very low levels?

Excellent to solid

but I also had players drop twice in two weeks, for example 15 -> 14 and then next week 14 -> 13

Maybe on much older cases that might be true. But the first ages where skill drops can occur, I've never seen a double drop, certainly not on higher levels.

Yeah, I didn't believe this either, but a good friend of mine had an old goalie drop 3 points (give or take) in a month.

I couldn't believe it - that's down right rotten

I got 5 to 3 pace drop on 45yo last Thursday or the Thursday before. So very low level and very old player in that case.

I've got a drop from incredible pace to excelent in one season, at a 38 yo player... to much

Maybe it's not that much at his age, but dropping in 28/29 is kinda harsh.. I think there should be some period of stagnation, like when a player can't either pop or drop a skill. Two or three seasons, for example between 29 and 31/32.
