New manager here, so maybe this already has been proposed.
I think what would really help the beginning managers to grow, is higher reputation botteams.
So more fans/reputation, so that you can grow faster in the lower leagues, by getting more sponsor money/respect from winning/ attendence. It will only help the lower/starting teams, and wont damage or impact the higher leagues.
It can also help bridge the gap one has to make from promoting to a nonbot league.
Greetings,
Barco van Masten.

Welcome to SOKKER!!!
You are absolutely right about that, I see it in a similar way.
You have my support in this!
I hope you have a lot of fun and success :)

The problem to this is many team farm.
Farming is making money on trainees while not wasting money on competitive players (which cost you money) for a period so long they make to have enough for going straight up and win.... its an playstyle much disencouraging for staying competitive at all times, and causes teams that Are competitive to rebuild from time to time and also farm
If lower leagues has super Bots which meant a lot more economy you would boost the farming teams which only downside financially is they lose money on weekly finances
Instead what should be done is better coaching staff with some discount on, bigger stadium (but not 5 times bigger), higher fanbase, and better starting team for the new users (compensation 2 years back in time) and then a guided tutorial with taske to fullfill, to unlock these and maybe other bonusses to new players (especially since so many new teams turn Bots, bigger stadium should be reward for fullfilling tasks)
But i get you, the gap is big, and first 2 years can feel longø

Im not saying it should be farmable, but more like, close the gap. Last season i often had higher attendance in friendlies than in competition, in combination with 60k sponsormoney, is very low. Its all fine because with some smart trading you can easily overcome it. But a little bit more love to starting players would be nice in my opinion.
A reward system creates too many problems and too complex to implement in programming!
"Some people use their intelligence to simplify, some to complicate",
or to put it a little differently,
"It's always easy to complicate something, but it is complicated to simplify something."

And transfer limit so you can't spend all your money at once (should limit those farming teams to buy 10 players for 150M in lowe-r/st leagues)!
You have some experience playing Sokker before?
80-100k/w is not much, you can't afford good trainers with this weekly budget! They made general training boost, but forgetting beginners have monoskill head coach, and bad assistants. How should they make profit from training?
Taxes are good but not favourable to beginners too!
I agree they should tweak Supporters number, both, bot and newcomer teams.
It would be interesting to see how season expectations system will affect new teams and their attendance and Fanclub members number!

To prove the point, my sponsor money went from 65k to 151k in one week after promotion.
My from 160 to 68 after relegation,
Now I make ca -180 000 before matches, and without players salary over 6 100 € -
Expenses on junior school amount to 19 000 €. 2024-06-15 05:14:28
Your junior school currently trains 19 juniors. 2024-06-15 05:14:25
The club had stadium maintenance expenses of 12 000 €. 2024-06-15 05:13:26
Expenses on junior trainer wage amount to 33 325 € 2024-06-15 05:13:25
Expenses on coach wages amount to 128 425 €. 2024-06-15 05:13:22
Expenses on player wages amount to 60 000 € for 23 players!
You need to generate fat minus to be competitive against 2. league teams! ;)

I did not even thought about the other way around, this is why managers stop. 14 weeks of maybe 1 interesting match. Having to sell your favorite players.
Good luck brother, stay strong!

Thanks, bro!
Luckily, I have a cunning plan!
Must see, at first, how it works with attendance, probably sell all substitute players, buy 1€ players for friendlies with salaries around 500€, and then I can survive with my budget. I'll sell trainees only if I have to! ;)

Correct. BOTs should be at least 1000 fanclub members
If it were easy to code, maybe
BOTS div 1 - 2000 fanclub members
Div 2 - 1500
Div 3 - 1000
Div 4 - 500

I dont know how to implement this, but the programmers should have all the numbers so should be able to make it so its not worthy to farm for higher leagues (which is a valid point from adaca) but its easier for lower leagues to get back up there.
