Subject: Transfers without being placed on transfer list

The ability to buy a player at a fixed price - without the player being placed on the transfer list.
I often cannot be online at the time when players are being sold on the transfer list, making it almost impossible to buy a player, unless I make a way too high bid a few hours in advance... .
The ability to buy a player directly has its advantages for both parties it seems to me.
It does seem impossible for me to be the first to bring up this idea? But couldn't find anything for this, so curious about opinions?
Thx!

Frankly, in such a situation, I set an alarm with my mobile phone and try to pick up the player at transfer time :-)
I don't think it's a good idea as the player has the opportunity to go for a price higher than the price agreed between the two clubs.

Too easy to abuse.
X sells a player worth 5m for 500k to his friend Y who is no longer interested in the game. Y trains the player for 2 seasons, player has worth 10m now, Y sells him back to X for 500k.
X just made 5m for free without doing anything.

Many teams could set the price, then the player could join randomly (purely, or base on other criteria) a team at deadline. That’s limit arrangement.
I have another idea:
Autobid
For example: current bid on a player is 100.000€. You think that he is worth more, and you are willing to pay up to 500.000€. So you set an autobid on 500.000€. Now the current bid is 102.500€. If someone else tries to bid an amount under 500.000€ the offer will increase automatically to the latest bid.
This could be a Plus feature, could be nice.

I think it is old but great idea, also it will help to regulate prices and all these restrictions against traders wouldnt be needed
It would actually make the life of traders much easier because they wouldn't have to spend all this time online, they would only have to make an x bid for every player and hope to get them cheaply
Now they have to bid manually every time

If a trader buys a normal price, then what is the purpose?
I guess we have different ways to look a t it but it is ok, it;s not gonna be implemented :P

Why a normal price?
You're assuming that if there's an autobid, then every player will have a bid of his +/- value and I doubt that it would work that way, people would use it only on "important" players, like best 16s/17s/top players
Anyway, yes, you're right - it doesn't make sense to further discuss this :P
Btw. yesterday Camus came up with a similar idea and we discussed it
It would be an interesting addition to create a possibility to make an offer for a player that is on Transfer Announcement
For example I see a player on TA, I like him, I make an offer of 3m euro - the owner receives it and can reject it or accept it. If he accepts then the player is automatically listed on TL with my starting bid equal to my offer made when he was on TA

I will reply as you asked, but we both agree we dont need to go much further

Most of the people log in when we have time available, there are sooo many times I have heard ouh I forgot or connected later or had no timne at that moment.
Also prices are never constant, they fluctuate mainly on: time, day of the week and week of the season (assuming we are comparing exactly the same player).
just an example: If we open the option for a person in japan or australia to bid for a player right now (21:00 hrs sk) then he doesnt need to be awake at 4;00 AM. This allows everybody to join the (automatic) bid.
This levels up everybody to a fairness then prices will fluctuate less.
Ofc traders looks for lows in the fluctuations, but this measure is might not be intended to fight traders, it is just a side benefict
btw, another benefict would be to reduced over priced players by cheaters as basically the final price will be the 2nd best offer
We also have discussed this some users, so many things to make the game easier, more accessible and devs choose the punishment and complicated option

"It would actually make the life of traders much easier because they wouldn't have to spend all this time online, they would only have to make an x bid for every player and hope to get them cheaply
Now they have to bid manually every time"
what this would do, is allow older, richer teams to have easier access to all players, regardless of time.
This would only broaden the gap between old and new teams.

-1 AutoBid
Same here... i think only benefits daytraders and Big Clubs mostly.

another thing. I KNOW NOTHING about programing, but it think that will be a huge issue, because you need a program that RUN ALL THE TIME making calculations...
This will FOR SHURE breacks something in game
