Hello everyone!
My name is Rodrigo Carvalho, and in sokker people know me by the nickname Woody, I have 25 years old and I live in a small city in Brazil called Piracicaba, in real life i starting a journey to became a football coach and in sokker I am know by have a career as a U21 coach... I already coached a lot of countries like Perú, Brazil, Netherlands, Switzerland and Poland... my most memorable moments as a U21 coach that people remember is i make a small community like Switzerland reach a U21 World Cup and the winning the U21 World Cup with Poland.
1- Reason to try the U21 team of Greece...
Well, the reason first is that I want to go back to coach U21 teams, is a thing that I always love to do it in this game and makes me happy... the other reason is that I see Greece as a community that have potential and I think we can make together good things in Sokker, also is because if I play this game, it all started with the first player that we buy to start training and then starting to create some money to build the team for future, I started to train GK that time and I buy a player that become the first GK to play for Greece in a U21 World Cup, his name is Zaharias Karamanof and thanks to him, I created a love for this game and I entered it every day just to see the evolution of this player and also for U21 teams since one of things that I love that time was watching my keeper playing for his NT, for me that means a lot since I basically was training the best of that generation and I believe that we all have a love for this game and started in a similar way, so the person who had the patience to invest in a youth school and bring this player into the game ... thank you so much because thanks to that, I am for years here playing Sokker, so... because of that also, I want to help Greece with my knowledge about U21 teams.
2- Goals for Greece
Well... if I be elected, my goals for Greece is very simple...
First goal of course is make Greece win a U21 World Cup, and I know that for that we need to make a project thinking in long term, since i have the acess to greek database, I know how is our players and to be honest I do not think we have a team to have a chances for that in the next U21 World Cup, but with patience, make a good work on training and youth schools, I think we can have a good generation that can make us fight against the best teams in the world.
The second goal is make Greece still in the top 10 of the ranking and even make this better, I hope we can go to top 5... top 3, number 1 of the world... Why not? Heh...
Third goal is about youth school, we have today in junior leagues 55 teams with youth schools... maybe have other teams with open youth schools that do not be part of a junior league, so maybe we can talk that we have about 60 youth schools... ok, but if you guys wants to make comparison with communities with similar number of users in junior leagues... Greece have 55 youth schools with 137 users, 2 time U21 World Cup Champion Belgium have 81 youth schools with 191 users, a country with less users than us, that win a U21 World Cup and reach a semifinals last edition (Finland) have 72 users and just 33 youth schools.... so what these guys have that we don't? Of course I have a plan to increase the number of youth schools, make users that do not have a open youth school think of a idea to open and then help our community, but also I want not just to make more youth schools open, I want to help the user to know how to work with the youth school and thus be able to create greater talent for the Greek community, I like to be communicative and communication will probably not be problem for that.
Fourth goal is about be communicative with the community, always talk about the U21 team, encourage you to want to follow, know about the things... I have some ideas in my mind and maybe we will make that happen, some weeks not just talking about our team, but for example talk also about other countries, maybe a interview with a U21 coach... i make this for example when I was coaching Poland and and that not only was accepted by the community, but the number of youth schools increased due to the community's willingness to help the project.
Fifth goal maybe is not about Greece... maybe... I think in try to use my fame as a U21 coach to make the other coaches of European countries try to make a U20 Eurocup after the U21 World Cup, competitions make coaches more excited because if we are in this it is because we like to compete with each other, and a U20 Eurocup after a U21 World Cup would probably be a great idea to be able to compete, prepare for the next generations and still face great U21 teams. If this not happen, at least i will try to create a competition to make U20/U19 matches to help our progress. Also this season friendly matches... only with the U20 generation to start to prepare the boys for the World Cup and if we make a good WCQ... maybe we use the U20 generation in some official matches too...
3- Gameplan and my tactical philosophy
For the users that do not read my digital book Manual to be a U21 coach and the Woodyrianism, my tactical philosophy is the ''Woodyrianism'' thay myself was created and is about a thing called position game that was and is used in real football by coaches like Johan Cruyff, Louis van Gaal and Pep Guardiola, I am a coach that always want to control the match and attack and defend using numerical superiority to create more ball possession to make my opponent have less chances to attack me and also I can attack more... I really like using depth and width to make it well applied in the team and this season I was able to show that this is possible in some matches that a friend of mine Tsolias give to me to play with the German U21 team, so that makes I remove the rust from my brain... heh, and was positive matches... 2 wins (against Venezuela and Lithuania), and a draw against Cuba...
My gameplan is about the position game but is also about the players i have.... I am not limited to 1 tactical formation, it will depend on the team I have, what I am thinking when I create a tactic, how is my opponent and etc ... In the end is the players that makes the game exist, so for more that I wanna make something, i need the pieces for that and that's why I don't believe there is 1 perfect tactic, it all depends on several related things. What you guys can expect is someone very intense, specially to create opportunities, I am a more a offensive coach...
Sorry for a lot of words, but this is my presentation, maybe because i not be a guy from Greece, maybe the language can be a problem... I don't know... but I coach in Poland that also have a language that I do not dominate and was 4 good seasons with sucess, so I think the barrier of language will not be a problem, what I think is... a lot of years of this community, why not give a chance to something new? Someone from other country that have a experience on past and is motivated to make another journey as a U21 coach and be sucesfull again? I want not to just be a U21 coach, I want to change the greek community... If you like my ideas and think I can be the coach that is necessary for the next seasons, VOTE HERE.

A reason to vote is because I believe in my knowledge and my game model to make Greece have success, I think I am one of the best coaches in U21, it may seem arrogant for me to say this, but I simply believe in myself... if I didn't believe that I have the potential to do so, I would never have tried elections in Romania, Poland and now Greece....
With me as the coach will be a lot more fun to read the forums because i want to show a lot of great things about U21 and information... and I want to take out that mentality of negative results is just thanks to the engine that hates us and that bla bla bla, engine playing against us or not is a shallow and weak argument ... I want show that a match is much more than the engine wanted the opponent to beat us for example and vice versa.
I want the community to want to write on the forums and want to learn and I also learn with people, think I always can learn something with someone... and not be afraid to ask questions or even criticize me as a U21 coach, if I do negative work, I want to criticism me ... I am not afraid of them and I prefer until that happens ... i prefer before a community that wants to improve your results and criticize me if it is necessary than quiet people .... and if I do a good job, you can praise also..., I want all of the opinions because I want to make the community active and communicate here ...

What do you think the Greek society should do immediately to make our national team better?
Is a complex question, but I will try to answer 100% this question...
First, is a feedback that i recieve by a lot of greek users about the greek community... basically most of them said that the community has not been in a good mood lately, that many veteran users are bored with the game and because they have been in this game for more than 10 years, they don’t think they can be wrong in the strategies they use and instead of analyzing their mistakes and try to correct, they prefer to blame the game engine... this is not me that talk, as I said... is a feedback that I recieved, this is also a reason to I wanna be a coach here... I want to make these people change the way on thinking about sokker, most probably blame the engine all the time because do not try something new, what I wanna talk is... this game exist since 2004 and in the past probably a lot of people use a specific formation with a specific width and depth and one day someone probably thinks the opposite and try something different and this work really well... and then people start to copy this guy and then another guy start to thinking another different thing and etc... it's a cycle and I believe that cycle hasn't stopped yet... if you guys watch the U21 World Cup Final... România become the champion using 8 players with DEF order on pitch... this is something new and surely new people will adopt, I believe that a new discovery, a willingness to innovate is what can make a community start to create a promising evolution... and by the way, I am not talking this like I know everything, I am also still learning a lot... as in the past, I am a person who always seeks knowledge and wants evolves my game model.
Second, incentive... the elections started, how many questions have the two candidates been asked so far? For example, an application topic was not made for those applying for the NT team and next season is World Cup for NT teams... Is like it not exist or is not important, I may be right or wrong, but I feel it’s like the community doesn’t feel they’re involved in this, if you want a greater involvement of the community, you need to make them feel that they are part of this, an example is the Czech community that is well united with its national teams.
So... basically i think is lack of seeking alternatives and lack of incentive... The game may be missing updates that should be added to the game in the future, but in the strategies I see that there is still a lot that can be done, a highly successful coach in NT teams called ale70 told me a weeks ago: '' If I play like the others, I will win nothing, I need to make different things to achieve win ''... Do not expect make a miracle and reach a U21 World Cup Final playing like România for example... Maybe I win the elections and in the end I do not win any title... but if I change the point of view of the community and make they think differently and maybe even encourage people here to try to be a U21 or a NT coach in the future and try to work using all things they have in hands, it could be that this generation helps the community to achieve important triumphs, I would be happy also if I started this too...

the need to have a united community is needless to say no matter who is the manager of the nt team..everybody tries his best on this.
about the match engine I would like to note once again that we never face the match engine but the opponent manager who chose his tactics roster etc..so literally nobody loses by the machine but by another human..this also needs to be common sense for everybody if we want to advance to another level. nobody became great in the game by blaming the match engine.
