I wil make on big topic for al the U21 matches, because otherwise Vilpu will think I'm a big spammer, which is not completely correct :-)


Okay, tonight we are going to play against Crna Gora. I have to be honest, I had never heard of this country, but it appeared to be 'Montenegro'. Montenegro is a Balkan-country and former part of Serbia and Montenegro (quite obvious). If they keep splitting countries over there, there will be more countries then people in the Balkan :-)

Ok, I've made a very strange tactic, we will see :-)

A little game: the first one who can tell me what the capital of Montenegro is, can choose the next tactic name against Letzebuerg...

it's quite funny to watch .. how svanlaugsson and martinsson are both playing for the same position and trying to beat each other :)

Tonight we play against Sakartvelo, or Georgia (not the one in America, but the one in eastern Europe... western Asia). They are not so very good, but they're place on the world-ranking is nr. 65, while we are on place 63 (we started from place 75 or so in the beginning this season).

well...we lost 0-3... bit of bad luck for the goals...but we were very lucky that they couldn't score the better chances...

The U20 generation is apparently a little too weak, so i have my concerns for next season :-S

Sorry for the late squad-showing, but I have worked on the tac untill seconds before the match, had a very busy week

This topic and everything about the U21 is rather quiet. I can understand for sure, there aren't any important matches and there's not much to talk about.

But I want to change it (a little), so I've made up a little game:

In week 00 we play against Kypros U21 and it's my last match as an U21-coach for this season (and who knows, maybe forever :-S), Kypros is not such a good team and it's an ideal match to give some prizes away.

The first thing you'll have to do is to guess what the result for a couple of matches will be. If you have the correct winner, you get 5 points...

Furthermore there will be a little list of questions for the next matches of Island U21, every question has it's own points, if your answer is right, you get that amount of points (sounds a bit complicated but it really isn't :-) )

The contest takes 2 weeks...The points will be just counted together...


Here are the prizes:

1) Make the tactic against Kypros U21
2) A Islandic player of your choice can join the team against Kypros and play 30'
3) Choose the tactic name for the match against Kypros and choose the outfit we will play in

The winner can choose first which prize he wants...
