Hi to all Ísland managers!

I am interested and motivated to be your national team manager. Just now I am manager of Suomi (Finland) U21 national team.

I like to bring conversations (forum, sk-mail etc.) and more teamwork to your national team.

I have time for this job and I also wan't to find few guys from Ísland that are willing to take scout or even assistant managers job!

And don't get scared about that scout or assistant manager thing. Main question for that is "Do you want to be involved as scout or tactical advisor?" As a NT manager I would be glad if you are!

i am the current NT manager for Island.
I have a few questions.

- As you know Island is decreasing in numbers of users, is there anyway you think that this could be changed and do you see anything that you can do?

- What is the overall goal for Island NT coming season if you win?

- The community isn´t that active, how will you improve that?

I have read your earlier forum message where you mentioned about this user amount problem. We both know that NT manager's role (in increasing user amount) is only a small part.

If I get enough votes - then I will be active in Ísland forums (player evaluations, questions, maybe even league predictions etc.) and just do my manager job good as possible. Maybe that will help current managers and they get even more interested in Sokker. And when that happens I hope they will bring more managers in this great football management game!

Last WC Qualifications went quite well. Third place behind those great sokker countries wasn't bad result. If Ísland gets suitable group this country has a chance to qualify.

Finland 2?? eh..

You are currently U21 manager for Suomi, i haven´t followed it but did you manage to qualify and who were the opponents?

Suomi U21 didn't qualify (third place in WCQ group). That was very disappointing for me. In same group played Belgia and Slovakia who were little bit better this time.

Hm, though group, not easy to qualify.

Do you have any favourite tactic that you preffer?

I think everyone has favourite tactic, but my tactic depends on -> what kind of opponent is coming against and also what kind of players I can use in lineup. Defensive format when needed and against weaker teams more attacking style.

Here is Ísland's qualifying group and current ranking (after team name):

Eesti from pot 1 is very dangerous and also Schweiz is tough opponent. Latvija is getting stronger and stronger.

Seems like I can play against Island:)

You will have no chance against Eesti, depends which players I decide to use. Schweiz seems also bit strong for you, but with some luck and perfect tactic you might surprise them, but the chances are quite small imo. Latvija is getting better and better, I think there is going to be a fight for the 3rd place between Island and Latvija. UAE and Honduras should be easy..
