Thanks, it was first time for me with Iceland when tactic really worked fine.
Let's not forget that Cambrant's Sverige managed to create more shots and maybe they had more good chances. Still with those marks and skills it was great result (and tough fight for both teams). I hope and believe that we can produce this kind of results in WCQ matches. :)

Honduras tries to keep strong middle - they haven't been using wingers in their this seasons matches.
Of cource this is a "must win" situation - and we are going to take it! ;)

I knew that this is going to be difficult match. Because of injuries we didn't have enough quality players in midfield. That was the reason why our tactic was quite defensive (5-3-2).
I believed that we are going to make couple of goals - and defend well. And that was the key for our victory today.
In the beginning we had one star in midfield (Haraldsson), but he also got injured (big loss!). After that all of our first choice midfielders were out (Edvinsson, Traustason, Haraldsson).
Injury problems continued when Bergmansson (DEF) got injured.
Still it was quite steady performance from our players, but there wasn't any "superb" performances today (maybe our goalie was closest to that...).

Next opponent should be easier when we meet UAE.
I think there will be very similar players (from Iceland) that played in friendly match against Sweden. It's going to be younger team from us (26 yo and younger).
