Currently we are working on the updates of all players in the NTDB. I hope that the most important players are up to date on wednesday. Tactics will be set on wednesday or thursday.

Last few days I looked for some nice countries where we can play against.

I'm also planning to send a message to all Icelandic managers to know what kind of training the are giving there players an to see there trainers.
My main target is to improve the NT, but this can only happen with the support of you guys, the Icelandic managers.

If anyone has questions, do not hesitate to ask them.

We currently have some problems with our goalkeepers.
Tumi Garðarsson and Peter Þórarinnsson are our best goalies, unfortunately they play in poland. The owners are not responding on my mails. With the help of the Polish U21 manager I got the stats anyway.
Tumi Garðarsson gets training, so that's no problem.
Peter Þórarinnsson gets no training anymore for about 3 months. We are currently looking if the owner wants to sell Peter because he needs training. I fear that the owner does not want to sell. hope I can bring good news in the near future.

Magnús Hjaltson, from the youth of Þór is the best news I can bring. This 17 year old keeper gets training and he is the future U21 goalkeeper. He will probably play from his 19th for the national team.

From now on, I will post all young Icelandic players who have a chance for playing in the NT if talented.

Defenders will be almost the same next season. There are some nice strikers also.
The midfield will be a disaster again.

As expected a hard group.

I think we can finish as 4th. We must win against U.A.E.
Hayastan will be difficult, but we can win against them.

I think you will beat Hayastan and UAE easily.

Ísland is definetily underdog against Ukraina and Bulgaria - especially against Romania. Still I see behind my magic classes that you get 1-2 wins against them! ;)

Hayastan is simular to Ísland, so it will be close I think.
Last season, we got a nice result against Bulgaria. Our team is now weaker, but I do my best to take some points against stronger teams.
The target is to finish on 4th place before Hayastan and UAE.

U.A.E. U21 - : - Ísland U21

Today we are playing our first WQC game.
According Studio TV, the expectations are: Totally outclassed here. Even your stars will be happy to get an opponent players autograph.

U.A.E. U21 is currently on the 92th position, Ísland U21 65th on world ranking.

No surprises in the selection today. Only Oddur Guðgeirsson, the second goalkeeper, has joined the group. This must be the strongest available team a the moment.

I have taken him out of the selection due to this situation.

Magnús Hjaltson is my first choice now. He is very talented and will be very fast on the same level of Peter.
