Colombia ranking 18 (marks around 75)
Slovenija ranking 44 (marks around 70)
Ísland ranking 49 (marks around 70)
Nigeria ranking 72 (marks over 60)
UAE ranking 94 (marks over 40)

Belgium is favorite and Colombia will be their challenger. Slovenija & Ísland can chase 2nd spot, but it needs succesfull tactics and also little bit luck.

Result: Ísland - España 0-3 (0-3)

We tryied to hang on in this U26-game, but opponents player quality was too much. We had couple breakthroughs, but Yngvarsson and Randversson couldn't score this time.

In midfield we have a big problem with age groups 22 to 26. Bjarkason is quite close decent level. Valdimarsson has troubles with his form (long period allready). Other midfielders needs more training.

Excellent game from Thomas! He kept score margin in decent level.

Hard working midfielder. Good passing and didn't loose balls.

One star was very hard to decide, but Gauti was more on the ball than Yngvarsson. Maybe played too much as a winger, but it was because of my tactic.

Little worried about Bjarnarsson trainings... because he has played lately only U21 and NT matches...

2010-10-03 is last club match... after that 6 weeks only U21/NT matches.

Yes, coach is logging and he plays also friendly matches... but Bjarnasson ain't playing...

Friendly: Ísland - Costa Rica

Our last friendly match before world cup qulifications starts. Because we don't have many quality players I will minimize the injury risk and let first team players rest against Costa Rica.

Costa Rica is good team => 60-65 marks. I think they will play with their first team.

- Garðarsson is goalie while Þorbergsson has low form.
- Bjarnarsson 22 yo is our youngest player
- Back in defence line after long period: Jóhannesson, Thomasson, Ívarsson
- Sveinbjörnsson is first team player, but his low form needs wake up call
