but its hard to tell at forum if he use 4 or 5 defenders or if he use 1 winger or 2 or he will play without wingers etc:(
maybe try use Island association forum or make some special forum where will be only people form Iceland who wants talk about tacitc....
our NT21 coach before tody qual match put our players at Sokker Slovensko forum and i think it wasnt good way we lost 1:4 agaisnt Belgium.... but Belgian quality of U21 team is much more better....

Last season we had a poll where I asked where these conversations should be.
After that I choosed that conversations will be here in Sokker Ísland. Of cource this can be changed even now if most of you want that...
Association isn't closed for only Ísland managers - there is lot of ex-NT-managers, foreign managers and so on. That's why moving conversations to Association forum isn't a solution for this. (of cource I can kick every foreign manager out of association...)
I would like to discuss more about tactics, but if opponent knows my tactic - it will be very hard to win in NT level.

Result: Rossiya - Ísland 1 - 1 (1 - 1)
Close match against Rossiya. Mostly game was played on our side, but ball control was quite even (48%-52% for Ísland). We lost marks 67.7-59.6.
Plan was that our defensive line takes Rossiya's winger and strikers. Line played quite low this time, because our central defenders were little slow (especially Óðinsson).
In midfield we counted on playmaking, because there we didn't have enough tech, passing and defending. We didn't have any defensive mid on lineup.
With playmaking skills we tryied to get enough contra attacks and through passes for Ármansson - and he played good match.
Stars:
*** GK Knútur Þorbergsson, Lúllarnir
Excellent game! He made few game savers (headers).
** ATT Mark Ármannsson, FC Meniskuskicker
5 shots and 1 goal. Not full 100% effort from him - he was still our most dangerous player up front.
* WINGBACK's Snorri Bergmannsson (F.C. Botanica) and Steingrimur Frostason (AS Bourac)
These guys are usually in first team and they clearly showed their level. Stealing balls and also took part in midfield's playmaking.

Belarus is from first pot and it is favorite in our group. I think that we have good chances in this group, but first match is against Belarus... exciting! ;)

Mini World cup's first match against groups favorite Belarus.
Belarus ranking is currently 38 and our ranking is 43. I think marks will be quite close each other. Tough and interesting match is coming!
Belarus has new manager Mr sponkie. Belarus won their last friendly match against Scotland 3-2 (marks 70.1).
Our players are in good form and all first choice players are available... couple injuries with our goalies, but Sigur's Bjartmansson takes command between posts and Tumi Garðarsson is our second goalie.
Tactics and lineup are secrets this time. Maybe we can surprise somehow our opponent ;)

Good playmaking from Belarus. I think red card for our defender (39. minutes) settled this game. After that our defence was full of cheese holes. Our tactic didn't work at all after that red card. That's why our players looked weak.
I didn't place orders for that middle defender... he would replace other defenders if they get red card...
First half was very good from us... we could make one-two goals. After first half score was 0-0.
Now we have to win our last games with clear difference, because only best runners up will get place for cup rounds.
Next week we should play against Nigeria, but their manager is banned. I try to get new opponent for us, but it will be difficult.

Got slight injury, but still our best player scoring our only goal.
