We meet Eesti with U26 team. So update your players!

I think those players who are part of Íslands first team ain't playing because of injury risk.

But send me info if you have first team player (U26) and you wan't him to play.

Eesti is very tough opponent, but we are searching decent result here. Only two players are 26 year old - so we are playing with very young players (two 22 yo).

We have quite good attackers up front, but our defenders might be in trouble. Also our midfield would be very thin without Valdimarsson.

Ísland - U.A.E.

Easier opponent this time in our World cup qualifying group. I just hope that this is not going to be walkover.

Our lineup is quite young, but there's couple experienced older players like Sturlaugsson, Haraldsson... also Númason, Bergmansson and Yngvarsson have lot of experience.

This time we try to play offensive style of football - creating nice combinations and lot of scoring chances.

Slovenija - Ísland

World cup qualifications Group K last round.

Slovenija is a good team and they beated Ísland badly in our first round meeting. Now it's payback time! ;=)

Third place is possible, three points and we overtake Slovenija in league table.

Our key player Yngvarsson is injured and that's pretty bad situation for us. Our number one goalie Porbergsson has low form, but fortunately Bjartmansson is in great shape.

In midfield our key players have bad difficulties with their form => Numasson, Edvinsson, Traustason... defs Sveinbjörnsson and Saemundsson have same situation.

I think we can do better than last time!

Slovenija - Ísland 2:1

We won... shots 15-3 but it didn't help because Slovenija's goalie was in flames.

Our tactic worked fine and game was under our control (possession 56%-44%), but opponent were more efficient with 3 shots and 2 goals.

Defenders played a good game, but sometimes we were trouble with technical strikers (in central defence).

Midfield worked better than I expected. Low form midfielders passed the ball well and tactic gave them lot of easy passing opportunities. Haraldsson was good and I think we could turn the game without his injury.

Randversson ran and fought well, but he is still few steps behind our injured star striker Yngvarsson.

Future:
This season didn't go that well as I planned... write me feedback what went wrong and what you islandic managers think about the future - do you wan't fresh new NT manager or should I continue? Your thoughts about this is very important for me. :=)

You have made a excellent job and are getting profit of basic you have build with hard work. One of the best NT we have had and in my opinion I stay 100% behind you! So keep going!
