I have used and edited this offensive tactic couple weeks and now it worked quite well against Canada. Defensively we were in trouble, but when we got the ball - we looked very dangerous.

Great moments:

1. Winger Christopher Valdimarsson's two assists and nice goal from long distance
2. Sigurvin Yngvarsson's hattrick
3. Thomas Bjartmannsson saved couple dangerous shots/headers.
4. Sigurður Ingi Bjarkason ruled midfield.

It will be U26 game against Norge. Update your players!

NT Friendly U26: Ísland - Norge

I am souuuuu late this time, but I have "little" project going on and it tooks too much of my sokker time :)

Against Norway we play U26 players and there is good amount of players to choose from (except defs).

Result: Ísland - Norge 1-5

Result was bad - I had totally different thoughts about how this game should go.

Our central defence was in trouble with Norway's star striker Torgeir Tønder (marks 86) and Karl Haraldstad (83). Those guys had too much tech for our defs. Also they scored very easily - not best day for Bjartmannsson.

In midfield we had good passing combinations. Randversson's injury was a huge blow for us.

NT Friendly: Sverige - Ísland

Cambrant's Sverige is against us and we play with our best players.

There are still few old lads (=>30yo) that can play in NT level, but younger players are now coming closer and moving past them.

NT Friendly U25: Guatemala - Ísland

Baldursson is out (slight injury) - he is our best U25 striker. Also number one goalie is out because of his very bad form.

Finding goalie is no trouble for Ísland. Bjartmannsson's and Garoarsson's skills are little lower than Porgbergsson's, but they are good goalies.

Defenders are hard to find... midfield looks better and better... and our young strikers are potential star players in the future.

NT Friendly U25: Ísland - Latvija

Latvija played against Canada and won 6-2. We won Canada 3-4 couple rounds ago.

This game is U25 match, but in our starting eleven there's only three 25 years old players. That age group has couple very good players, but that's it.

I will leave Baldursson and Porgbergsson out of this lineup because of their low form.

I hope that Ísland vikings can bring down manager Sharoni's legion. ;=)
