Hello Ísland users!
I'm Norbert, 34 years old, I live and work in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski (Poland). I have been playing sokker for 5 years.
I'm current NT O'zbekiston Coach. This season I have played 14 matches NT and I won 8 matches. In the Asian Cup I was 1st in Group D and I was promoted to
1/8 Finals.
In my club, I was classified in 3rd place in the 4th Polish League. My highest average mark - 65.9 and highest ranking - 5481.24 (04.03.2021). I played in the Polish Cup in the 7th round.
Next season I would like to represent National Team Ísland U21.
Why Ísland?
I have been a supporter of the Ísland national team since Euro 2016. I was fascinated by the atmosphere in the stands of Icelandic fans who form one big family.
In this season I watching matches Ísland U21, 5th place in Group I QWC, 72nd World Ranking.
Ísland needs a change in my opinion. cannot play with only two tactics throughout the season.
In every match I used a tactic suited to the opponent. My favorite tactic is 5-3-2, but I play also 4-4-2, 5-4-1 and 4-3-3.
First season, I would like to enter Ísland U21 to the TOP 64 to be sedded a 4th pot in the draw for the next QWC U21.
Second season, I would like to be in the top three in the group. I believe it, otherwise I wouldn't have taken this challenge.
For me, cooperation between the NT coach and the club coaches is very important. So far, cooperation with managers has always been very good for me.
I would like all users to run youth schools and share the skills of their young players - this is very important. I would also like users to share their players' skills at least once a month and report important skill up.
I respect users' requests and if, for example, I get a sk@ from the player's manager not to play in a match NT U21, I will not put him in the match.
I care about the long term development of Ísland in sokker.

Wasting no time, I started analyzing all the players in the National Team. Next season I will arrange U20 vs U20 friendly matches to invest in players who will play in the next World Cup qualifiers. Of course the best 21-year-olds will keep their place in the NT. If i win the election i will update NTDB immediately as it is neglected. I will strengthen the NT personally and tactically. I'm an optimist.

For a few days I have been observing the base of Icelandic players aged 16-20 (currently).
I found 13 new players who could be a great reinforcement of the NT U21. I relied on their values, forms and marks. When I become a coach, I will acquire their skills and join them on the team. I won't post a list of these players here, but if you are interested please drop me an sk@

I have a request to all those who run youth school - let's not get rid of young goalkeepers.
We urgently need young goalkeepers from 16 to 20 yo.
We currently have three goalkeepers aged 21, but no younger.

For several seasons I have been training in my goalkeepers club, who go to strong national teams such as Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Montenegro, Israel.

Now I would like to train a young goalkeeper from Ísland, who will strengthen the U21 and, in the future, the senior team.

I analyzed all groups for U21 WCQ. Ísland U21 had one of the lowest average mark of 38.1. Out of 98 countries, only 5 had lower mark: Kazakhstán, Singapore, Ghana and group rivals O‘zbekiston and Cameroun. After age changes, in the last friendly match against Belgium, Ísland played for an average mark of 36.3. I will try to do my best to improve the statistics. Of course, the number of victories will be the most important. Next season I would like to play friendly matches against teams at a similar level to ours. I would like the matches to be exciting and interesting. I don't want to play against the best teams or the outsiders, that's what the time will come for in the WCQ. I am already looking for potential opponents.

The vote was over and I was chosen as the new coach of the Ísland U21. It's an honor for me. Thank you for your trust. I will do my best to make Ísland grow stronger! From today I arrange friendly matches and obtain information about the players' skills.

The first match of this season is in a few hours! We will play against Andorra U21, which will be the favorite. We are 71st place in the World ranking (878.42 points), while our opponent is in 63rd place (1129.52 points).

Unlucky loss. The opponent is listed higher, but we played better and we should win. A very good match played Árni Þór Orlygsson, who scored 2 goals. These were the first goals for the national team for him. Our goalkeeper Heiðar Samúelsson played weakly, he defended only 1 shot. We have a lot of unsatisfy.
We are happy that we played on the rating 41.9 ! In the previous season, NT U21 has never played a higher rating than 41. I hope that in the next matches it will be better and happiness will be on our side.
